My third visit in the last 13 months to Finca Esperanza ahead of @phoenixcoffeeco’s third year buying coffee from this magical place. Exciting to see all of the improvements to processing this year and the success of Ana’s continued commitment to exclusively organic methods of production. Can’t wait to taste the results of the early harvest trials designed by @lluciasolis for this year.
Excited to be back in Palestina to expand on the work @linorodriguezospina and I did last year, this time with with his neighbor, Luis Edgar Camacho of Finca la Palma. . . Over the next few years, Luis will replant his rust-resistant trees with higher-cupping cultivars (including Tabi and Gesha from Lino) but in the meantime is exploring better ways to process his Castillo. . . Check shelves @phoenixcoffeeco in a few months 👋 #coffeesourcing#southofthewall#colombia
