There's no question, we all love lavender and there are so many uses and benefits! It's one of my favorite oils and its beauty is infused throughout our garden, our honey bees 🐝love it too! As a holistic health practitioner and mom, alternative ways of staying healthy are important. This week we went to our favorite chiropractor for a family adjustment. As usual, my 3yo girl was so excited and my 7yo son was not. We talked for hours about overcoming fear and courage. I pulled out all my yogini mama power but nothing was making him feel confident even though he had been several times. Once we were there and he was on the adjustment table I pulled out my lavender which I ALWAYS carry with me. I rubbed a few drops on my palms and asked him to inhale deeply while I held my palms over his nose. He immediately felt calm and was ready for his treatment. I am so grateful for these oils to help this mama out! Here are some other ways you can use lavender:
🌿SLEEP: dilute a few drops with a tsp of sesame oil and rub on the soles of your kiddos feet at night or rub a few drops on your hand and spread over child's pillow
🌿BURNS + OUCHY'S: 3-4 drops to a tsp of coconut oil and apply to affected skin rash or burn
🌿HOUSEHOLD: place s few drops in a diffuser or on a cotton ball and place in boys sock drawer!! Yes!
🌿STRESS: Inhale through the palm to reduce anxiety, stress and feelings of overwhelm! 🌿SOAK: add a few drops to your bath salts and spahhhhh!
