Always step outside your comfort zone. You cannot progress unless you try new things. Been wanting to get into rovk climbing so this is me taking that first step. Best part about being in a new area is having fun new things to try. Excited for a new challenge. Also can you take a minute to appreciate the back gains lol. Great upper body workout by the way.

Ab nugget time! Every woman struggles with the lower ab area because this is the last spot our bodies like to loose fat (#we makebabies👶). This is one of the best exercises you can incorporate into your routine to target that lower abdominal pouch. I also find this to be the best exercise to take pressure off your back for those of you with low back injuries.

Because I think you all know by now I am the queen of pancakes😋😋😋. These are buckwheat pancakes, my new obsession! Don't get me wrong I still love my Kodiak cakes but have been having to make some swaps lately due to my IBS. Buckwheat is one the healthiest and versatile whole grain foods. It is full of fiber, iron, magnesium, protein,it's fat free, and is gluten free (despite its name). All of which help aid with digestion and it even helps increase energy. So have I convinced you to jump on the buckwheat train? If so try try this simple recipe and don't forget to tag me in it! -1 cup buckwheat flour
-1 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp cinnamon -1 whole egg
-1 cup milk of choice -1/2 tsp vanilla extract -1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 Tbs melted coconut oil

Yesterdays shoulder workout, this one was killer! I hope you give it a try.
Warm up: 20 around the world's, 20 shoulder presses, 15 single arm shoulder raises (use a light weight) 🎥 video 1- seated lateral raises, 4 sets of 10 (use a challenging weight)
Superset with push-ups till failure 🎥video 2-upright rows, 4 sets of 10-12 reps (make sure to keep your shoulder rolled back)
🎥video 3- cha chas, 4 sets of 12 reps
🎥video 4- plate pulse to press, 4 sets of 8 reps (raise the plate face level, press out, lift over your head, bring back down chest level, press out, bring down, that equals 1 rep) *Not videoed*
Heavy shoulder presses -4 sets of 10

Trying something new, thought I would post today's ab workout. If you guys like these kinds of videos and would like to see more please let me know and I'll keep them coming. 🎥 1- table top medicine ball crunches. 4 sets of 12
🎥2- overhead toes to bar-4 sets of 8. Bring toes to right, middle, then left, that equals 1 rep. *Side not this is an advanced ab movement. I was using 50 pounds but only use enough weight that you can managed to hold over your head for that amount of reps.
🎥3- weighted sit-ups with 25 pounds- 4 sets of 15
Not shown in video-cable crunches-4 sets of 20. *Note all the ab exercises you are seeing are weighted. This is because currently I am trying to bulk up my abs not lean them out.

Its important to experiment with your food so you do not get bored or burnt out with your diet. I always make it a point while meal prepping to have two different proteins and two different veggie options. By this doing it will help keep you on track while also leaving you feeling satisfied. Current stats: I'm 5'8 140 lbs, Not bulking, not cutting just trying to find balance right now and live my best life.
My life recently has been turned completely upside down. It was important for me to not cause any additional stress and to find my happy place again. This means getting my st*t together,doing what makes me happy, and establishing a routine again. It's important to have goals but sometimes it is just as important to step back and focus on the current. You will drive yourself crazy trying to control what isn't in your control. Let go. Free yourself. Allow your mind and energy to focus on something positive and to build something beautiful. You are worth it.

To be a bikini competitor it takes dedication, grace, and a ton of hard work. It is not about the trophy, the placing, or a prize. It's about setting goals and surpassing them. It's about discipline, will power, and finding your inner strength. It's about structure and perseverance. My body is the science and I am the experiment. If I can help,inspire, or change and motivation people somehow in their life, in their thinking and in their health, then I am beyond blessed. I don't compete just for myself, I compete to show every woman out there that we can achieve anything that we set our mind to.
