πŸšπŸ’πŸŒ… ✨Happy 11th Anniversary Brandon! At this exact time 11 years ago we said "I Do" in our favorite place, the most beautiful place in the world. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for being faithful to me, for treasuring me, for providing for our family and working hard to make our dreams a reality. We've had some very difficult seasons, but you always stay positive and dedicated to seeing us through. Each year is a blessing and I thank God for you. There's no one else I'd rather adventure through this life with because you make everything more fun. Here's to wishing we lived on a permanent vacation. You're my "somewhere in the sun." I love you. β˜€οΈ #happyanniversary #11 #30A

Happy Milestone Birthday to my Heart Sister Meg!!!! Y'all, this woman...let me wipe away my tears and get myself together, she is one of the strongest and bravest people I know. 2016 was a hard year. So very hard. She walked through fire and she came out even more beautiful and courageous than before. She is everything I'm not and wish I was, and I know that's why God led us together in our adult lives-He knew we needed each other. She is the older sister God gifted me as an adult, the mother of our Godchildren, and the best and truest friend anyone could ask for. She is kind and genuine, she is warm and familiar even to those who don't know her. She lives and understands the same "solo Veterinarian practice owner wife life" as me and totally shares my animal obsession. She is one of the biggest blessings in my life and I can't imagine a day without her. Meg, I'm so incredibly thankful to God for the gift of your life, for your friendship, for your unconditional love and for making the world a brighter place. 2017 is turning out to be a great year for you and I'm so happy to be a part of your joy. I wish you all of the health and happiness and love in the world, and I look forward to all of the adventures ahead of us! You deserve to be celebrated! I love you!!!! πŸ’•πŸ’™β˜€οΈπŸšπŸŒŠ #40neverlookedsogood #doesntlookadayover30 #lifeinlilly #lillypulitzer #30A #disney @thepinkflamingomacon

πŸ›³Disney Southern Caribbean Cruise Night 4: PIRATE NIGHT ☠️ β€’One if the most fun events that every Disney Cruise hosts is Pirate Night! Almost every single person on board dresses up like a pirate. I mean to tell you that people go all out, so much so that it can be difficult to tell the difference between a cast member and a vacationer. There's a big dance party on the pool deck, then the characters come on stage and perform, and finally they finish with fireworks over the ocean! After the party everyone goes to dinner in their pirate costumes. It is SO much fun to see what everyone is wearing and to see people of all ages playing along and having a blast! Brandon and I both ordered our costumes off of Amazon. πŸ–€β€οΈβ˜ οΈ #jollyroger #pirateship #disney #disneycruise #nevergrowup #nevergrowold #piratenight 4.26.17

πŸ›³β›°πŸŒ΄Disney Southern Caribbean Cruise Day 4: ST. LUCIA {Castries}
β€’ We booked our port adventure through @disneycruiseline for a "Snorkel Beneath the Pitons." Fortunately our catamaran was parked just behind our ship, which made for easy access. This boat crew and patrons were much calmer than in Barbados. We had a beautiful ride from the port to the Piton Bay, where we dropped anchor and jumped off to snorkel beneath the Pitons. The Pitons are two iconic volcanic plugs. The water there was colder and darker, but still very picturesque. The snorkel area wasn't that big for the amount of people there. We snorkeled for a while, then walked ashore to the beach and the dock to take in the views of the majestic Pitons. There were a lot of other small boats anchored and also Sugar Beach Resort there. The ride back was smooth and pleasant. The crew showed us Marigot Bay, where the original "Dr. Doolittle" was filmed (how fitting!) and they served Rum Punch. Notice a theme? The trip lasted about 4 hours. It started to rain right before we got back to the port and then showered on and off again for the remainder of the afternoon. We got off the boat and hauled our gear back to our staterooms then headed back out to "explore" Castries. Everything we saw was very dirty and disappointing. We saw the most malnourished dog and it literally broke our hearts to have to walk away, especially Brandon because he knew he could treat and rehab the poor fella. After about 45 min. - an hour we decided to head back to the ship for lunch having no luck finding a decent local place to dine. We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging on the pool deck, watching movies and relaxing. Advice: Definitely book shore excursions for Castries, St. Lucia. The Pitons were incredible and something I've always dreamed of seeing in person. I just kept staring, trying to cement their majesty into my mind. β›°πŸŒ΄β˜€οΈπŸ›³ #disneycruise #disney #nevergrowold #nevergrowup #stlucia #pitons 4.26.17
