💕 My first #shelfie and I couldn’t be more proud. Bookcase staging is a freakin art form + after a million iterations, I walk past it and am truly, madly, deeply obsessed.

Special shoutout to @robbinsanity for helping me move the same objects again and again on the top shelves. Doesn’t go unnoticed. 😉

Went for a sunset ski after a long day of amazing hard work in our coaching business — and the magic carried over from my work to my play.

That’s why I LOVE being surrounded by entrepreneurs — always learning, always growing + always stepping outside my comfort zone.

Tonight the lake was pure glass and I got so comfortable cutting in and out of the wake on two skis.
⠀⠀
My inspiration/best friend/partner/husband/coach @robbinsanity challenged me.

And so I did.

Like a champ.

Like a baby champ doing stuff that scares her and just doing her best.
⠀⠀
I’m growing, I’m living, I’m pushing myself.
⠀⠀
I’m not letting anything stop me from becoming who I was DESIGNED TO BE in all her glory - for His glory.

Our brains mess with us and for some twisted reason we feel like we can’t start something because of how far away from the goal we’re looking to reach.
⠀⠀
If you want to get fit and healthy, the pre requisite should not be ALREADY being fit and healthy, or setting the goal wouldn’t make sense.
⠀⠀
When you start taking care of yourself...
⠀⠀
You start feeling better.
⠀⠀
You start looking better.
⠀⠀
You start to attract better.
⠀⠀
It all starts within you.
⠀⠀
It all starts because of you.

So start - messy, unorganized, broke, tired, sad, anxious, depressed, clueless, half assed, full ass, with fear, with pain, with doubt — with any and all of it.

The antidote is on the other side.

Dude, I LOVE what we get to do every single day that sometimes I just need to get up, walk around, fuel up and get back to it.
⠀⠀
Going outside with the poms is the best. Ten tennis ball throws in the sunshine and back at it.
⠀⠀

I’ve also been doing some research on ADAPTOGENS and how they help our bodies resist and handle daily stressors.
⠀⠀
Increased natural energy, improved cognitive function, combatting stress, reducing fatigue, building up my immune system and a ridiculously positive effect on my mood.
⠀⠀
Grateful to have this in my back pocket and still be fueling up with it every day — 7 years later.

I believe I have it in me to do AMAZING things.

I take responsibility for where I am.

Every single day I move in the direction of my goals.

I was born to do something great.

I drove our boat @ 45 mph for the very first time yesterday.

Total inexperienced driver.

I've got to learn how to tow @robbinsanity and 30 mph is his minimum in order to ski the way that he wants to.

You add wind + waves and for a first timer, and even 10 feels like it's fast, furious and pretty terrifying.

I didn't know what was safe, what was normal and what I was capable of.

I started at 5 miles an hour.

He pushed me to kick it up to 10, and 5 didn't feel bad.

Then we went to 15, and 10 was a breeze.

20 mph felt like the fastest I wanted to go, 15 is nothing.

I gunned it to 30, and 20 was effortless.

It wasn't until we found the perfect little path behind a pontoon boat that completely paved the wake.

No waves.

Now's the time.

Gun it. All the way.

After getting the boat up to 45 mph for a good 5-10 minutes, EVERYTHING else felt like a breeze and like I was in total control.

You know that feeling when the things that used to shake you and break you and freak you out became your friend?

That's what happened.

COMPLETE proof that sometimes the VERY best thing we can do to get comfortable is to get uncomfortable.

I'm addicted to the growth waiting behind the fear...

... on the lake and in life.

And I'm taking that lesson with me everywhere I go.

Skiied again this morning to celebrate the calm AFTER the amazing storm that has been weddings, family visits + moving.

I dropped a SKI and am so ready to slalom and take things to the next level.
⠀⠀
My back is WRECKED in the most incredible way and I have an even greater motivation to work toward my best.
⠀⠀
More balance, more speed, more strength and more release. And a whole lot more making @robbinsanity proud. ⠀⠀
This is just one of the ways we play together and I know how much it means to him to fall in love with a sport together.
⠀⠀
I’m strong, I’m focused, I’m positive and I’m going to get better every single day.

And I’ve only just begun. It feels amazing to use the gas money we used to spend on a 2 hour commute to a full time job in corporate America in our ski boat.

On days we don’t lift, we SKI. And this is a Pearson life by design. ☀️
