Today, I took myself in a different direction. I woke up from not much sleep at all as I do but instead of chewing my nails and anxiously waiting for the first shitty moment of my day, I decided to take a deep breath whenever I felt stressed, negative or nervous about something. These three feelings are almost second nature to me for most situations and I needed to stop it.
My whole day felt lighter and I smiled a lot more which encourages me to continue in this way, thus making it easier every day for me to live this way.
It's really tough for me to love myself, to stick up for myself and to push myself but this day has really taught me that I can do all three of those things and that feels good.
Here's to all the people out there who struggle like me; try to believe in yourself and get rid of all the negative energy around you. Learn to balance yourself and hold your composure no matter how hard it gets.
