Enough of the slipped disc shit!! I got so fascinated by watching a video of an old hakka ah ma make the 老鼠粉 by hand like this with this seive made just for this purpose, so my quest for sourcing the utensil and experimenting on the recipe began 6 months ago.

The end result is like a tender udon with a nice chewy bite and coats on the seasoning so well because it is not coated in so much oil.

One of my favourite hakka kueh is on the menu now. Hakka Mugwort Kueh #客家艾草粄 will be available every weekend from this Saturday (21st April) onwards.
Mochi-like skin with faint aroma from fresh Mugwort filled with white radish, salted turnip, sweet turnip, carrot, Chinese mushroom, minced pork, garlic, dried shrimp and fried shallot.

Went for the #congee but this braised brisket stole my heart... rich, flavourful with so much depth it will be perfect with noodle which they have an option in the menu.
Had the threadfin belly congee, so fresh and light I totally forgot about the fried fritter because the congee itself is so delicious!! Definitely be going back to try the other items! #muikeesg @muikeesg 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤❤

Tasted some really delicious teas today and my favourite is the 糯米香 with such beautiful aroma of steamed glutinous rice. ❤❤❤ #tea
