I had the pleasure of being empowered and inspired tonight by someone who was in a public speaking meet tonight. Someone who lost her eye sight but despite that she had the courage to come to the meet and spoke fearlessly in front of many people and it was an amazing speech! 💯 after her speech I had the chance to speak to her and she introduced herself to me and I was totally blown away. She is life coach, got her own business, goes to the gym and living her life fearlessly. At that moment, I was so grateful for things that I have in life and really wanna achieve everything goal In life. i really encourage you guys to go somewhere where you could meet new people, speak to someone and you will never know how events like this could inspire you, you know! I know it's not fitness related but mindset affects everything! 😊

Relationship with food and that balance👌🏽📝⬇️

Sometimes it's important to know that it is okay to have some naughty 'junk' food that you enjoy but you also need that balance of healthier options of food like vegetables, salad and less processed foods. Enjoy every meal you should have and make smarter choices in terms of calories.💯🥙🍕

The idea of clean eating and eating 'clean' food has been around for a while. I was on that 'clean' eating mindset where i tell myself to restrict on my diet and not eat any 'junk' food. Every meal i eat needs to be chicken, broccoli and rice or somewhat clean. 🍚🐓🌳

Meal after meal... In the end of the day, this idea is never sustainable, I ended up binging during the weekends with pizza and everything I can find because 'cheat meal' was a thing, but then I was never happy mentally or had a good relationship with food🌚🌞

Bicep training tips💯📝

I have been trying my best to get these bad boys to grow for the past 2 years, but I don't really prioritise training it since it is one of the smallest muscle group in your body💪🏽

Bicep brachii muscle has got two heads
1. The long head of your bicep which is the outer head(outside)
2. The shorter head with is your inner head of biceps(inside)

So to get a bigger bicep overall, focus on training both heads in order for balance growth of bicep, but any sort curling movement stimulate bicep muscle activation. It is recommended to lift heavier when you start your bicep workout, and progress from there. So I would recommend barbell curl that will allow you to lift heavier than a seated prêcher curl or dumbell curl

When progressing to dumbbell curl, it is better to curl with a rotation manner, that is when you lift the Dumbbell up, internally rotate the dumbbell and it will stimulate more muscle activation.👍🏽👌🏽💯 •

Barbell curl, hammer curl, normal dumbell curl, seated dumbbell curl, preacher curl and reverse curl

Been hammering my legs pretty hard for the past year and an half, time to see some result soon!💪🏽

During the period, I find that in order to train legs and train it effectively, you have to incorporate different exercises to do so.🙅🏽‍♂️to 🐓legs please. My favour quads exercises include •front squat
•goblet squat •leg extension at the end of leg workout •walking lunges •leg press with higher rep ranges •

Since it's #throwbackthursday , here's a pic when I was super lean last year💯 looking forward to being this lean and be bigger and leaner💪🏽🔥I'm mentally prepared that during this cut I will lose some muscle mass but it's okay, this happens when you go in a caloric deficit👍🏽

This myth of losing weight and gaining muscle is a pure myth and it may only apply to people whos just picked up weight lifting, or it could happen during early stages of your cut. Simply because when you are in a caloric deficit and in this period of time your body is in a catabolic state more than in a anabolic state🙅🏽‍♂️The only way to pack on muscle is by going into caloric surplus and train effectively such as in a progressive overload programs🔥that is when you progress in your lifts, intensities or programs.

In terms of progressive overload program, I personally would go for that 8-12 rep range and progress with Rep ranges from 8to 10 to 12 and at the same time improve my lifts by increasing weight! 💪🏽

Happy #humpday! Yesterday I came across people that does not know a thing about what macronutrients are, and it absolutely surprised me, to me, tracking macros or eyeballing it absolutely helped me like a tons towards my fitness journey, I started seeing the REAL difference when I started tracking macros! Cutting or bulking 🔥Macronutrients are made out of 3 basic component, fat, protein and carbohydrates! 1 g of fat/protein/carbs is 9/4/4 kcal

It is very very important to track your macros because it will simply assist you in many different ways, for example people who doesn't have a clue what macro is will tend to stick to the idea of 'clean eating', rice, chicken, broccoli, which is good💪🏽🍚🐓🌳.

BUT to a certain point in the fitness lifestyle, they will be tired of clean eating and eventually binge, and goes into that clean eating Monday to Friday and mess it up during weekends cycle, then they wonder, 'hmm, how come i can't progress?' Shout out to my mum, i did try to teach her but yea...😩😂

When you are trying to put on muscle mass, you have to go into a caloric surplus to do so, how to achieve that is you have to find out what's your maintenance calories are and then add 500 kcal to it. 💪🏽🍛🍕🍱 food food food!! And vice versa when trying to burn fat! 👌🏽🔥

Anyways 7th week into my second cut, yes I'm in a caloric deficit! Physique update, front body. 😂👌🏽had a big meal before that gym session that day, but I am just happy with the progress I have been making for the past 7 weeks! Lost 5.3kg and feeling healthier and mentally stronger than ever!💯 looking forward to seeing the end product and doing reverse dieting 🔥

Why is form so important during your lifts, i am sure you have heard of the word ego lifter? People repping half or quarter reps on many forms of lift, the most common one is squat. It absolutely cringes me when I see someone doing 180kg, 4 plates with quarter squats, I am sure you have seen cringy videos on YouTube that shows who lifter fails.

So to prevent us to become one of them!🙅🏽‍♂️
1. Lift with PROPER FORM!
2. lifting with proper form not only gives you better range of motion to get more out of your working sets and reps in terms of muscle growth and strength growth
3. It helps prevent unnecessary injuries
4. And from a long term point of view, you won't have to then correct the bad habits you have developed from performing exercises with bad form.
5. Say no to bad form swipe left!
