The Community Foundation of West Georgia on Wednesday issued $300,000 to 34 nonprofit organizations serving Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties from its Community Impact Fund.
Since the first grants were issued in 2004, a total of $3.9 million has been distributed to local organizations in the west Georgia area. #CommunityImpactGrant #CFWG #nonprofit #makinganimpact #westga

The Power of the Purse is honored to announce $14,160 in Grants to nine local nonprofit organizations. The Power of the Purse is sponsored by Community Foundation of West Georgia, which is a women’s giving circle that assists nonprofit organizations who support women’s and children’s initiatives in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties.
This year grantees were: Carroll County CASA, Carroll County Child Advocacy Center, Carroll County Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy, Communities In Schools of Carrollton/Carroll Co., Inc., Heard County Community Partnership, St. Margaret's Community Outreach, Temple Senior Center, Waypoint Ranch, LLC, & West Georgia Habitat for Humanity.
