My junior year of college I came home to a package with a new laptop and a note that said "Sometimes the best part of being a parent is being able to surprise your kids. Here's a start to your career." I cried like an idiot. Today I'm crying like an idiot because my dad is retiring and I think how the majority of success I've had in life is because of parents who believed in me and taught me to work really hard. Dad, thanks for all the years of work and always putting family as top priority. Now go take a nap!
