If you follow me you either know me or are into fitness in some way. You probably follow other fitness people as well. If you’re like me, based on looking at Instagram, it seems everyone is working out ALL OF THE TIME. I’d like to stop being a part of perpetuating that notion. For those of you who think I am working out all of the time, I’m not. Here is what I having been doing most of the day. Sitting on the couch doing work on my computer. (I know most of you go to work all day so this is nothing special either) I also haven’t worked out in 3 days which is no big deal to me. Honestly. If you’re pumped up on your fitness journey, don’t let me discourage you. This is for those people who are killing themselves trying to keep up with what they see on social media just so they don’t feel less than.
I would also like to confess I took this picture twice. I’m not sure why I didn’t use the first one, it was pretty much the same. From now on I commit to only taking one picture if I’m taking a picture of myself in order to expose the most real version of myself. I don’t take many selfies but I just may have to start supplementing fitness photos with #onetake selfies that glimpse into my non fitness life.
