Cascade Brewing  Pioneer of world class Northwest Sour Ales 🍻#houseofsour #cascadebrewing

Tomorrow, Oct. 19, is the release of Primordial Noir 2017 in bottles and draft. Primordial Noir is a blend of imperial red ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with Northwest-grown Bing cherries and spices. A concentrated precursor to our Sang Noir project, Primordial Noir features a more robust bourbon and cherry aroma with notes of roast malt, molasses and baking spices.

Saluti from Roma! Big Mike and Norm are pouring at EurHop! Roma Beer Festival. The sour beers are moving quick and we are grateful for our amazing hosts and fellow brewers from across the world. Come say ciao, and let us pour you our sour beer! @publigiovane_eventi

Patrick is at @snallygasterdc in the heart of the capital today, pouring Apricot, Elderberry, Kriek and Noyaux!

Our head brewer Mike is at @wildbeerco in Shepton Mallet, UK, working on an international collaboration beer! The plan is for a fruited barrel aged sour beer, and is planned to be released next year. Cheers!

Just finished up a tasting at @ghostwhalelondon featuring Melonious Blond, Peche Fume, Belmont St. Bramble (pictured) and Cherry Bourbonic. There was a great turn out and we had a blast talking and drinking with everyone, including our great hosts!

It was quite the tasting tonight at @beergonzo in Coventry. We tasted through 9 Cascade beers with a great group of people!

Cascade continues its UK tour this Wed, Oct. 10, at @wbwappingwharf. Head brewer @mr_mathis will present three exclusive Cascade beers matched with tasters curated from the chef. Only a couple tix left!

Join us at @kriekfest this Saturday in Hood River. We'll be serving Al Nocino, a blend of blonds, quads, and imperial spiced porters aged in wine and bourbon barrels with locally grown Bing cherries, rose hips, hibiscus, and Stonebarn Brandyworks Nocino. A dominant cherry flavor and aroma are accentuated with rose hips and hibiscus, while the warmth and subtle nutty flavor from the Nocino round out the finish of the beer.

This Friday is the draft-only release of Manhattan 2016, a blend of sour quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to 24 months with sour pie cherries and apricot noyaux. A tribute to the classic Manhattan cocktail, this unique sour beer interpretation features flavors of bourbon, maraschino cherry and bitter almond with a rich malt backbone. 🥃🍒🍺

This Friday, Oct. 5, we're releasing Holler Mountain Triple on draft at both pubs. This collaboration project was created with our friends at @stumptowncoffee and is a blend of our foudre-aged triple ale and Stumptown’s Holler Mountain cold brew. Flavors of toasted malt, oak and orange zest from the triple are complemented by a distinct coffee presence that brings notes of hazelnut and citrus fruit to this rare collaborative blend! ☕️ 🍺

UK Sour Beer Fans! Join @mr_mathis & @tim.larrance from Cascade this Wednesday in Manchester for a Cascade & @WildBeerco Aged Bottle Tasting at @thebeermoth!
