Packing for our trip tomorrow and thank God, I've found the charger for my camera's battery. I almost had a nervous breakdown this morning. I mean, can you imagine going to Iceland and not having a camera...
Crazy cat lady in the making? Whenever Amy sees a cat she has to become their best friend before cuddling them almost to death. This little fella is one of my mum's neighbour's cats that strolled into her garden this weekend. Don't know if he'll ever return after Amy was done with him but my mum might be happy seeing as she's complained about excessive amounts of cat poo in her flowerbeds 😂😂😂
We're off to the cinema this afternoon and Amy is already running around in her 3D glasses...
Such a gorgeous sunset. We've had the best afternoon today. We lit a little campfire in my parents' garden and made stick breads and Amy told everyone her selection of scary stories which we were quite frankly hilarious. We couldn't stop laughing about them. What did you get up to today?
Today, we're taking Ken and a spoon to kindergarten. Why you wonder? The kids are learning about the letters J, K and L and have to bring in objects that start with each letter. Amy's words are Jacke, Ken and Löffel (coat, Ken and spoon). She's obviously wearing her coat already, so you could see me walking around with Ken and a spoon this morning. Not random at all 😂😂😂
We're practising grumpy faces, just in case you were wondering 😂😂😂 Amy has this obsession with selfies, which I guess makes sense considering we live on our own and have no one to take pictures of us, so every now and again, I entertain her and go along with it all. The things you do for your children, right?
Good morning from my little unicorn and sleeping mask lover. I've never in my entire life slept with a sleeping mask but Amy is obsessed with hers and doesn't go to bed without it. It's the cutest sight ever when I check on her before I go to bed and she's led there with her sleeping mask, cuddling her unicorn and seal while soft snoring sounds travel trough her room...
My little adrenaline junkie - for Amy it's always faster, higher, stonger. She loves pushing herself no matter what she does and I think I should have known when she was 11 months old and climbing on our window sills that I've got quite the risk taker and competitor on my hands. Luckily, she isn't a sore loser or cry-baby when she reaches her limits or falls...
Someone's so proud of her 'science medal' from kindergarten, she insisted on wearing it again today. So funny as people who know me personally know that sciences are not my cup of tea at all. Mind you, I could probably cope with the level of science that went into their experiments - just about 😂😂😂
This has never been more needed than this morning. I worked until 1.30 AM this morning because I was being really creative and productive but once I was done, I was so awake that I just couldn't go to sleep. I thought I'd read my book for a couple of minutes and then go to bed. Well, those couple of minutes ended at 3.50 AM - Urgh, why do our never learn??? I'm soooo tired this morning...
My little unicorn lover - I swear, if Amy had a spirit animal it would be a unicorn. A feisty and fun-loving one that's still got the traditional unicorn characteristics of being caring and loving. Because that's exactly what Amy is. She's the kindest, most loving little being but she's full of energy and crazy and adventurous ideas at the same time. I love her happiness and free spirit because that's what I've always wanted my children to be like before I even became a mum...
Amy took half the beach with her in her boots this weekend. Imagine the mess I would have had at home, if she had taken her shoes of there 😂😂😂
