My close friends and coworkers know I struggle being vulnerable (I’m working on it haha) but I’m gonna throw this out there- since high school I’ve gone up and down with body confidence. Being a high achiever, I often strive for perfection and I am really hard on myself. It started with a few years of anorexia, then cycles of overeating and over-exercising, then being finally “okay” but still not being happy with how I looked.
This month marks a year where I can look back and say that this was the first year in a long time where I’ve been truly happy with my body and my health.
You might have noticed a lot of bikini pics this year 😝 and it’s because I am so damn proud of myself and my way of celebrating a year full of working hard, eating right, balance, and finally being able to accept and praise myself. It’s ok to celebrate yourself in different ways and this is mine.
I was reminded of this because the Faster Fitness fall transformation challenge starts in 2 weeks- and I can say that it’s because of the education that this first challenge a little over a year ago gave me, and because of Meals by Maddie that I was able to feel like I had control over my health and happiness. STL ppl-sign up for FF challenge here and DM me about meals if you want to take your health to the next level ❤️ @faster_fitness
