Meet Elizabeth Henric. She’s farmed all over the world. Now she works at Amalthea Dairy Farm in Montana, often wearing her daughter, Maple, oh her back. “There are so many things I love about working at Amaltheia—seeing my friends every day, greeting the animals, early mornings with snow capped mountain sunrises. I think most of all I love working outside and getting my hands dirty.

I feel so blessed to have a job that I can have Maple with me. That being said, it was also very challenging. I could not have any expectations for the day. Some days we’d work one hour and it would be really stressful. Other days we’d work 5 and it would be a breeze. I had to time my tasks to meet her needs. Some things were only possible once she was napping on my back. Sometimes she would fall asleep easily without a fuss. Other times we had to go out for a long walk before she’d relax enough to close her eyes. There were days when we’d be at the farm for four hours but only get a couple hours of work done. I’d get frustrated but remind myself that spending time with her is just as important as my work.” -Farmer Elizabeth Henric 📸: @craftedincarhartt #AllHailMom #HappyMothersDay #familieswhofarm #Montana #babywearing

Trina’s heritage is deeply rooted in the tightly knit Californian farming community she calls home. Raising cattle, pigs, chickens, rabbits, cows, and horses on a farm that’s been in her husband’s family for 100 years. Ask her what makes her most proud, and Trina’s quick to tell you all about her organic pork and farm fresh eggs. But what truly makes this mama bear beam from ear-to-ear, is the joy she takes in watching just how naturally her son Jaden’s taken to farm life. Still only 13, Jaden’s already begun raising his own herd of cattle. And nothing could make this hardworking Carhartt mom feel any prouder than seeing that. 📸: @craftedincarhartt #AllHailMom #HappyMothersDay #thankyoumom #farmfamily #California

Happy Mother’s Day from @CraftedinCarhartt. To honor all the hard working moms, we’re going to give you a closer look into the lives of the women we owe everything to.
Meet Diana. She’s a welder in the Bay Area. Ten years after becoming a proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local 377, Diana decided it was time to be her own boss. Venturing out on her own to open DC Metal Work, a metal fabrication company that’s stood tall amongst a male dominated field. Fifteen years later, Diana’s deep sense of accomplishment is why she’s always eager to provide other females with the encouragement and gentle nudge they might need to join the trades. She even shares her welding chops and experience with students at the Oakland-based school of crafts, The Crucible. That is, when she isn’t too busy passing down the blue-prints to the way around the workshop to Diana’s 10-year-old daughter Lucy.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the hardworking moms out there who are unafraid to take on the world. #AllHailMom #HappyMothersDay

I’ve wanted to have my own farm since my early 20’s.
It’s taken a lot of hard work to get where we are today and a lot of the time we’re so busy that we don’t slow down and take time to appreciate what we’ve been able to achieve.
While the hard work and unpredictability of farming helped prepare me for parenthood, having a baby has really helped me to slow down and stay present in the moment.
Thanks for following along and y’all have a happy Mother’s Day! @ladyandroux | #allhailmom

Matts getting August used to that Kubota life and showing him that we’re not members of the soft hand club. Couldn’t imagine doing this without him.
