Care Ambulance Service  "We Take Care of People" Proudly Serving the Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside Counties Since 1969 🚑🏥

Yesterday afternoon Care Ambulance was honored to be invited to the Cypress girls softball 6U team season opener to throw out the first pitch of the game.  Their team name is Diamond Heroes and they have dedicated their season to all  EMS, Military, police, Fire. Care Operations Manager Taylor Cohen graciously volunteered to throw out the first pitch and speak with the girls. These adorable young ladies were so excited to see Taylor and as you can tell by the pictures they gathered around her with huge smiles on their faces to get high fives from Taylor.  Thank you to the Cypress softball team and their families. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #falckpeople #cypress #girlssoftball

Care Ambulance is beta testing a new software solution called "Task Card" for field EMS providers.  The new software has links in it to most of the software systems used by Care's EMTs and provides almost real time feedback on their data submissions.  Pictured here is Jennifer Merritt demonstrating the software to the next group of EMTs to be part of the beta test. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #newtech #taskcard #feedback #betterdocumentation

Here are the Ambulance Patient Off-Load Times (APOT) from the OC EMS Agency for the month of March 2018.  The report lists each Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department (ED) in Orange County with their Mean, Median and 90th Percentile APOTs.  Ambulance patient offload times are the interval between arrival via ambulance of a patient at an ED and the time the patient is transferred to an ED gurney, bed, chair or other acceptable location. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #ambulancepatientoffloadtimes #ocems

Faces of Care - Meet Care EMTs Richard Ochoa and David Ortega.  Both Richard and David came to Care during the recent LA 9-1-1 contract transition from Schaefer Ambulance.  David has been an EMT for 15 years and Richard for 8 years.  When asked what they liked at Care, both said they enjoy the ease of scheduling and really like the new Stryker Auto Loaders.  Richard, in preparation for future career goals has recently lost 50 pounds.  Congratulations on your significant weight loss, we are very proud of you.  Gentleman, thank you for your good work. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #falckpeople #facesofcare #lacounty #careergoals

The CA delegation of Care CEO Troy Hagen, along with Christina Lee, Gabe Romero, and Colin Newlin spent a great day on the hill with 235 colleagues from around the nation. Their discussions included many important healthcare issues including Veteran’s coverage, drug shortages, the opioid crisis, liability for volunteers and grants for Rural EMS agencies. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in their effort to tackle some of the nation's most critical healthcare concerns. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #falckpeople #healthcare #opioidcrisis #drugshortages #veteranshealthcare #ruralems #doingthegoodwork #patientadvocates

Called to Care Moment of the Day – We received an email from Saddleback EMT Student Daniel Olswang and we had to share. Daniel writes “I was recently a ride-along representing the Saddleback College EMT program on the date of April 5th, 2018. My two preceptors were David Hinojosa and Colleen McNaught. I would like to take the time to email your organization regarding the level of professionalism and literal care these EMTs brought to their shift. An extraordinary experience with phenomenal amounts of wisdom and knowledge imparted upon myself. I cannot thank CARE enough for their hiring decision regarding Colleen and David.” Collen and David thank you for taking the time to show this student the tricks and trades of EMS and for being such great representatives of Care. David, continued good luck in your studies and we hope to see you out in the field soon! #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #falckpeople #emtstudents #saddlebackcolllege #careersinems
