After five exhilarating days camping in the Great Bear Rainforest and one incredible encounter with the wolves, the @bcadventureproject crew made their way back to the mainland. Not only did we get to see the wolves, but we also got to learn so much about them and their behaviour. The GBR is one of the wildest places in the world and I'm so thankful it's protected within Canada.

My heart was racing and my hands were shaking as we watched three coastal wolves emerge from the dense forest nearby. The sun had long set, making it challenging to see these beautiful animals easily. The male, female and young pup had waited until high tide making the crossing from island to island, a challenging swim. One of the most incredible moments of my life...

The Great Bear Rainforest is truly wild and one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. With such little light pollution up here, we got to see an incredible display of the Aurora Borealis in the distance. The @bcadventureproject crew sat around the fire and watched on in awe.

By day, the @bcadventureproject group explored the Great Bear Rainforest by foot, kayak and boat looking for the elusive coastal wolves. We found signs of their activity all around us. Multiple wolf tracks covered the beaches, the forest was filled with small bird heads, and broken shells littered the network of trails the wolves had created. To see
such active signs of the wolves was incredible.

Earlier this year, seven of us ventured in to the Great Bear Rainforest to document coastal wolves, among other wildlife in their natural habitat. On day one we arrived in the remote village of Shearwater and were greeted by this Bald Eagle. The coastal First Nations believe these Eagles to be sacred and rulers of the sky, signifying good things to come.

We hiked up through the alpine, wildfire smoke filled the air but didn't deter us or the mosquitoes from exploring more

Tonight I joined @samsungcanada here in Toronto for the national launch of The Frame TV, featuring some of my images! It's incredible to see my photographs displayed on this new canvas with such beautiful quality!

I've always been fascinated by the overwhelming sense of scale that mountains bring, just being in their presence demands respect

Nestled high up in the mountains on the shores of Lake Lovely Water is the Tantalus Hut, a magical backcountry hut in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Would you take this road, even if you didn't know where it would take you?

I've been drawn to the Tombstone mountains for nearly a decade, I've always been drawn to wild places and harsh environments, but some more than others. I think they have a lot to teach to people willing to respect and learn from them

Smoke currently fills our skies and valleys here in the Pacific Northwest, but it makes for some pretty wild sunrises!
