Here are 2 of my favorite exercises from my cable circuit today 🤗 If you're relying on weight machines for the majority of your strength training I encourage you to incorporate more cable exercises and free weights! You may not realize it, but the weight machines do A LOT of the work for you and they don't engage your stabilizer muscles.

VIDEO 1: Cable squat row combination - sit back and keep your weight in the heels. Do not let the knees come over the toes. At the top of the squat,  keep a bend in the knees and pull the bar towards your chest.

VIDEO 2: Torso twist - holy obliques…. I am already sore 😂 Keep your legs stationary with your toes pointing forward. Engage your core and twist away from the cable machine. Make sure to control the move on the way back to the starting position.
