39 months broke back and things could be worse. There's a lot of negative in the world today, that's no secret. From day to day little things to the news stories on TV. Staying positive can certainly be more work and effort than being brought down but it is definitely worth it to try. One of the biggest things for me is the amount we take for granted. I've posted about it before and I am again because I think it is such an important part of being positive/happy. It is pretty easy for me to get caught up with a list of things I can't do now that I could before but there is a way longer list of things I can still do. A list of things that someone out there would give ANYTHING to be able to do.
I always go back to the feeling of being sick or having an injury and thinking to myself how much better things would be if I just felt better and was back to normal - I would be so much happier. Well, that day comes and you do feel better but that feeling soon goes away. Chances are, even if things aren't so great right now, they could probably be a whole lot worse and concentrating on what we do have rather than what we don't is one of the biggest keys to being happy in my books. Right now is a good time to think about all the good things you have - food, water, family, friends, shelter etc and think about how many people would give anything for those things. Things could definitely be worse. #smileforBC #itsalwaysagoodtimetosmile #brokebackbanter #nitrocircus #family #friends #food #earth #wind #fire #babegirlfriend
