I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted and this prep was easy. I’ve been at a low body fat % for a long time, my energy levels are all over the place, and haven’t had my menstrual cycle in months.
I could stop and give up. I have great excuses. I’m a full time pre-med student. With that, fitting in training and meal prep takes up 100% of my time. I walk about 5-10 miles every day just to get to and from my classes. I have to remind myself to eat and to shower. I have about 3 solid outfits that actually fit me right now. I haven’t had ANY time within the last few weeks to just relax. I get in my own head, compare myself to others, and too often lately tell myself “you’re not good enough”.
But guess what? There are people out there who don’t have the opportunity to get an education... to grow mentally and physically. I am lucky to be where I am, and I am so thankful that I get the chance to pursue my goals (so many don’t get this chance). So I am going into these next few days with this mindset. This is my journey and every day I get better, stronger, and smarter.
