"See this? America IS great."
Today was beautiful. Today was inspiring. Today was the first day of a movement I'm proud to join. Midtown Manhattan was PACKED. I marched with two amazing women, @rowanljohnson & @kelrig25, we were stuck, waiting and chanting, with thousands of fellow marchers for 2.5 hours at E48th and 2nd, blocks from the starting point. By 2pm we decided just to walk down 48th over to 5th and join the actual march, squeezing through a barricade and chanting about equal rights, women's bodies, majorities, democracy, the people united, peace, love, and truth. ---
I'm also really proud of my friends here on Instagram. People I've never met, people I've known for 30 years, people new in my life who I want to get to know more, you all marched in your city or traveled to D.C. to exercise your right, speak your mind, and do what you believe must be done to keep America great, because we all know it always has been. ✌️ #womensmarch #womensmarchnyc
