I highly recommend this impassioned and heartbreaking book about our City. Jeremiah Moss poetically points to the politicians, business interests and policies that have stripped New York of its identity over the past two decades. Moss offers a common sense praxis on how we can take New York back for New Yorkers.
I bought this book after two friends and NYC history enthusiasts posted about it on the same day and I hope this post will inspire at least one other person to do the same.
This book has inspired me to reclaim this City and once again make it the “New York of agitators and nonconformists, of creation and disruption, of people who were awake and worked to wake the rest of America with writing, art, politics, and social justice.”
