My favorite photos from last night as #Stryper wrapped the first leg of their #GodDamnEvil tour here in Nashville. The band has international dates this summer followed by another run in the USA this fall. 34 years in and they've never been better. Special thanks to The Warren Brothers for making a surprise appearance on #ToHellWithTheDevil! 👊🏻

#Elvis really is everywhere! Even on the dressing room wall backstage at Nashville's @canneryballroom. ⚡️

Moments before taking the stage here in Nashville.... #Stryper #GodDamnEvil

Fell in love with the music of #JohnWaite in 1984, and then went nuts when he later released 2 albums with #BadEnglish. Tonight I finally was able to experience him live just around the corner from our house at @franklintheatre. It was SO worth the wait. #IAintMissinYouAtAll #WhenISeeYouSmile

So great hearing new music from @joy__williams (of @thecivilwars) at @franklintheatre! 👏🏻

A little big band tonight with The Establishment at @franklintheatre.

We finally had a chance to watch @abcnews @abcnetwork's #TheLastDaysOfMichaelJackson last night. Just a few minutes in and there was the bedroom chair that we bought after #MichaelJackson's death and sold last year. It now can be seen at @realzakbagans @thehauntedmuseum in Las Vegas. Not gonna lie... I kinda miss it. 😔

What a privilege to hear the Violins of Hope this evening at the Nashville Symphony! The Violins of Hope are a collection of restored violins played by Jews during the Holocaust. These instruments have survived concentration camps and the remarkable stories connected to them should never be forgotten. What an honor to have the chance to hear them here in Nashville before they return to Israel.

It took me a few days to gather my thoughts on Roseanne and the media circus surrounding her cancellation... I worked briefly with Roseanne, following the end of the original series run. She was wanting to do a country album and I was brought in to help pitch labels, primarily to "appease her" and get it out of her system.

Here's what I know... She was nuts. She could also be a total sweetheart. She had a visible chip on her shoulder and for whatever reason, she never became comfortable with success. It was the world against Roseanne, even when the world was for her. I sense that that never changed.

Her tweet was repulsive, and I'm stunned that she wouldn't immediately recognize how offensive it would be before hitting send. That said, I know for a fact that Roseanne doesn't have a racist bone in her body. I believe her that she didn't intend it that way. As crazy as that seems, it's true.
ABC had no options here. They did the right thing. But I hope they also do the right thing by the hundreds of innocent workers they have left unemployed without warning.
And I hope that the public will grant Roseanne just a little grace and compassion... we all say stupid things. Some just stupider than others and on a much bigger platform. 😉
