As the fog rolled in over the mountains.

The rain fell, leaving its mark on the ocean blue of the water as the river flowed from the mountains.

It had just started to rain as we made our way up the trail. We knew it wasn't far, so we hurried and made it here before the storm hit. The clouds rolled in and the water flowed so heavily into the river below. I know they don't want us chasing waterfalls, but I don't like to listen to them.

We spent the weekend driving across the expanse of the Olympic Peninsula. We hiked on beaches and through rainforests, spent the night watching the sun set over be Pacific Ocean next to the campfire, and fell asleep under the stars to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. All in all - this weekend was an 11/10.

Through the clouds.
I think I found my dream house.
Who would you want to live here with?

Through the woods.

Heading to the Olympic Peninsula today with @michaelmatti and @calebsprong for a little exploring.

On the road again.

Well, in the air again. Over the past 48 hours I have spent 28 of them in an airport or on an airplane. From a relaxing escape to Florida with @nipitabread, to celebrating the life of my grandmother after God brought her home earlier this week in Ohio, to now landing in Seattle where I am about to embark on four days of spontaneous adventures with @michaelmatti.

Although I love traveling and being on the go, it feels quite wonderful having my feet on solid ground. Even if just for a little while. I'm excited to share this week's journeys with you all soon!

Frozen reflections thawing as each day grows warmer and warmer. I love the sense of life and hope that comes with spring.

Learning to call the sky my home these next few days. After what was a relaxing escape to south Florida, I am on my way to Cincinnati to be with my family after the loss of my wonderful, inspiring, love-filled Nana. She spent 84 beautiful years teaching me and a thousand others how to find joy in all of life's moments.

What did the mom buffalo say to her son as he was leaving for school?
Bison.

Layers of white snow and crimson sun.

Sitting on the beach, not mad about missing the blizzard Minnesota is having right now.
