Climbed up to 11,428 feet today to see the twin sisters peak and also to leave a little bit of dad up there too. I was on my own after Amber had made it 1.3 miles of the 3.7 miles hike. After I left her it got much more difficult as the snow got deeper and the side of the mountain got much steeper. Luckily I met some people who snapped this picture and helped me document my experience. I kept dad in the left pocket of my jacket and he helped me the entire way. Words can't describe the experience and feeling of accomplishment once I reached the top and sat down to take a good look at the view with him.
