Lots of pink and I approve of it. 👚🌸🎀💞 2017 has been a pretty lit year, despite the hardship I’ve gone through with my life doing a full 180 in the recent months. It was filled with tons of travel in south east Asia, a cycling trip around taiwan, bike racing in China and America, meeting a lot of new amazing people, reconnecting with old friends, started a t-shirt company, pushed through fears & anxiety, and rocked the color pink with ease.
I want to thank every single one of you for the support, my parents, family and friends. I’m more than ready to close the chapter on 2017 and get to the bigger and better opportunities in 2018. I have some very huge and exciting plans coming in 2018 that I’m ready to start doing.
Thanks for following along on my crazy, wild journey through life peeps. I promise you the next few months won’t be boring so you’ll want to stick around.
Cheers 🥂

A little #fbf to a high five mishap before I won Minnesota State Cyclocross Championships a few years ago. •
I went to go high five @bushitrealgood and the outcome was not so good. Bush hit my handlebars and then my front wheel went sideways and the next thing I was supermanning my way to the finish. Thankfully I had a bit of a buffer to make it across the line and take the title. •
This is probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me but I’m glad I get to relive it now and have the memories that I ate shit right before I won the biggest thing my goals were set on that season. •
Thanks MN cycling scene for being the best.

Last night to purchase @jiayoulife Lucky Cat T and O.G. T. Website goes down at midnight eastern time. This will be the last time I sell these, working on new designs and moving forward with Jiayou.
Thanks everyone that has supported this far. I really, really appreciate it.

Last year at this time I was finishing up a 4 day stage race in Chiang Rai, Thailand where I filled in for @specializedchina. It was my best result of the 2016 season behind some pretty serious competition. I ended up 6th overall in GC, when I made most of my time up on the queen stage with a climb to the finish after 150k of flat and fast racing. @peterpouly eventual winner took off at the bottom of the 8k climb and was gone. I chased with several groups but we never saw him again. He also had a very strong team that made it impossible to get away during the flat stages previous days. The last day was a crit course that was filled with fireworks. I attacked the last uphill in hopes I could make up a few seconds but fell short and lost in the sprint.
After this week, I was able to make the connection with Specialized and this is how I got a spot on the roster for the 2017 season. Great group of very strong and fast dudes. Missing them a lot these days.

Can’t wait to strap a front number plate to the handlebars again. Racing mountain bikes is heavy on the mind, need the dirt therapy. Just have to get through this whole thing called winter.

This day was probably my most favorite from the taiwan 🇹🇼 trip. We decided to go check out the taroko gorge where the Taiwan KOM Challenge takes place at the end of October every year. It’s a hill climb race that is 105km long and you climb 3300 meters. I have this event on my bucket list, and looking to target it in two years. 🚴
After exploring some of the gorge we headed north up along the coast and I was completely blown away by the beauty. The road we ended up on may not have been the best but it didn’t matter because the views were incredible👌. We unfortunately weren’t able to continue up the road because we were told it was too narrow for Cyclist and we would be risking going over the cliff into the water. We got in the car and drove it instead, while we drove it I was sooooo bummed we didn’t get to ride it because it looked so epic. When I go back I’ll be sure to ride that section. Just look at the second photo and tell me you aren’t amazed.

Both @jiayoulife designs are back and available for purchase at the link in my bios! Original graphic is available in t-shirt, tank top, women’s tank top, baseball jersey and football jersey in multiple colors.

I’m probably never going to stop with the photos from Taiwan because I had such a G R E A T time, just so you guys know. 🤙🙌👌

#TBT to over 10 years ago when I took my senior photos. Obviously I was probably one of the coolest kids going into senior year...look at that hair! I will say, @shaunwhite was one of my idols in that time of my life, still is.

This was our first day heading north after riding all the way south in Checung, Taiwan. We started our day with a climb and a downhill to get across the island. The views were immaculate on top of the climb and once we reached the coast. The Pacific Ocean was to our right and the wind coming off of it was strong making for a pretty brutal crosswind/headwind. The 50k that we had to go up the coast to our destination (Taitung) was definitely tough but the view I had the entire way made it much more enjoyable.
