The increased blood flow brings more oxygen and nutrients which in turn helps it function better and faster. This can improve memory, boost your clear thinking and ultimately your mood. You don't have to make it complicated to start either, it can be as simple as putting your legs up against a wall at the end of the day for a few minutes.
