Hi everybody! It’s been about five years since I wrote Love Does. During that time, you’ve started schools, orphanages, and safe houses in Uganda, Somalia, Iraq, Nepal, and India. You built a Syrian refugee village and even a hospital in Iraq! And this year, you’ll be starting another school in a country that has been ripped apart by decades of armed conflict and where there aren’t many schools. We’re more hopeful than scared, as we get ready to travel there and are confident in the power of love, when released into young people’s lives, will transform their futures. We’re following your lead as you you give away love and acceptance like you’re made of the stuff. Keep it up. You’re saving lives.
I promised the publisher of Love Does another book, and I’ll admit, I’m years late. Here’s the thing. I really didn’t have anything to say - until now.
I’ve seen what you’ve seen. A lot of people are on edge. And while Jesus has given us a simple yet seemingly impossible command to love everyone, we are confronted every day with horrible setbacks and surrounded by difficult people. How in the world can we still give away love?
Everybody, Always is a book about what we do next. It’s about the power of love and hope to help us navigate our lives and our faith. It’s about loving people who are easy to love, and loving people who creep us out. Because here’s the deal: we probably creep them out too.
I’m starting a launch team for this new book. For anyone who wants to apply to join, just click the link in my bio.
I was going to wait a bit before we told everyone about the book but it kind of leaked out and we’re #1 on Amazon’s new releases so we’re really encouraged. We’ll have some fun leading up to the April 17, 2018, release date. So jump on board if you’d like to, pre-order a copy if you’re interested and we’ll figure this thing out together.
Your friend, Bob
