Over the past few days, I've had quite a few ladies reach out to me regarding heartaches. I hope all of you ladies know that you deserve so much more and so much better. I know I know....practice what you preach as I'm sitting here struggling to get over an ex who has been leading me on for over a year now. It's okay to cry and let it out. Let yourself heal. Write it all down in a journal. Take it day by day. Just heal; however long it takes. Start surrounding yourself with people who do nothing but make you laugh and make you laugh so hard that you forget that you cried yourself to sleep the night before. Fight the urges to contact them. Fighting through those urges is hard but it will get easier. If you do decide to give the person another chance (we've all been there where we want to believe the person has changed and give them chance after chance after chance myself included) make sure they know how to make it up to you. Their actions will always tell you how much you actually mean to them. These are just a few of my favorite quotes that I like to read over and over again after each heartache. Invest in yourself. Personally, I take it out on my body after each heartache. What works for me may not work for someone else. Find what it is that makes you happy and go do it. Yes, the nights are the absolute toughest and when I want to reach out to him the most but I fight through it. Know what helps me? Watching a good comedy show as I lay in bed thinking about him and feel the hurt creeping in. Turn on some Kevin Hart and just enjoy and laugh. It's not easy but it will get easier.

Every year, about a month before my birthday, I like to reflect back on the year and see if I've met my goals and set some new ones to tackle. The past year has been absolutely amazing. The past year has been truly incredible both personally and professionally. Becoming an admin for @tattedmilitary has been such a blessing! Even if I get frustrated at times (think #reginarants on our Snapchat), I've truly been so lucky to meet so many amazing people from that page who inspire me more than I can ever express. Then having someone as inspirational as @johnburk1 ask me to be an ambassador for an amazing company with two amazing veterans running it. A year ago, I was ready to quit my job. I was at my wits end but I'm glad I stuck it out because truly I do love my job working with so many amazing attorneys, civilians, and enlisted staff. As I get closer to being another year older, it's time to set some new goals and to demolish them. So here's to @tattedmilitary hitting 100k followers (hopefully by the end of summer), to the amazing people I've met through the page and have yet to meet, to helping my Thirst Trap Thursday squad reaching all of their goals, to more new Regina rants, retaking my LSATs, becoming a big booty Judy, and maybe, just maybe, finally meeting a man who will treat me right and make me laugh (sad fact - been secretly wishing to meet my soulmate every year as my birthday wish for the past four years) πŸ’•

ALL THAT FOOD SHE ABOUT TO WASTE 😱

Heartbreaks and men may have done many things to me...but they were never able to slow down my hustle.
