πŸ˜‚GOT ANOTHER 'EXPECTATION VS. REALITY' FOR Y'ALL🀣
β€’

I told y'all in my swimsuit post that I have had opportunities to learn NOT to trust IG ad shopping. This was my first experience, having felt "duped" by the pictures of what the product SHOULD be vs. what it actually is. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
β€’

These pants were advertised as "loose-fitting, float, comfortable," and there was an obvious WIDE, loose waistband in the picture. What I got was the sad, I'll-fitting, tight, and SHORT pants you see here. At least the pattern was mostly like-advertised. πŸ˜‚
β€’

I actually cut a small hole in the waist band and took out the INSANELY TIGHT and small elastic band that was unnecessarily added in. At least I now have LESS restrictive, tight, and short pants to wear around the RV. As I said, you'd think I would have learned by now. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
β€’

What wonderful (or horrendous) online shopping experiences have you had? I'd love to hear about them (and/or laugh with you) in the comments! πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ€£#expectationvsreality #lol #onlineshopping

Never been to a trampoline park before and I have to say that this was a BLAST!!! This place had it all...trampolines, obstacle courses, sky course, climbing walls, and we loved every bit of it!!! Got some fun footage for the #YouTube channel so stay tuned! YouTube.com/blueblairyfitness

πŸ™ŒπŸΌI'VE BEEN BINGE FREE FOR YEARS ❀️
β€’

I honestly cannot remember the last time I binged. I've had periods of overeating (who hasn't?) but a full blown binge has not been in my life for some time and I could not be happier. 😭
β€’

I used to plan my entire week around my "cheat meal." After being what I deemed as "perfect" on my diet during the week, I felt that I deserved a reward for having been an obedient dieter. What started as a harmless weekly meal out would often turn into several days worth of shoveling anything and everything I could into my body. Candy, pizza, mac and cheese, cereals, ice cream, and anything else that I had deemed "off limits" would be stocked up and ready for me to devour. Each week I got more focused on the cheat meal and each week I found myself more and more full, eventually leading to the point where I would retreat to my room with more food, feeling guilty and ashamed. πŸ’”
β€’

Monday would roll around and I was left feeling bloated, uncomfortable, sick, and guilty. I felt as if I was constantly struggling to keep my head above water, when it came to my relationship with food. I never felt at peace because I was either restricting and longing for what I couldn't have or I was in an uncomfortable race to get in as much as I could while I could. I thought I just needed more willpower and to be more diligent during the week. I thought that I could "undo" the damage via cardio and intense workouts. Then it would start all over again. I was a hamster on a wheel, but thought that's what it took to reach my goals. πŸ’”
β€’

Flash forward to now....I don't always eat "intuitively." Sometimes I eat more than what I need or feel satisfied with. I understand now that by taking those immense restrictions and the pressure off of myself to be perfect I can actually enjoy life and food without guilt. I no longer feel the need to punish myself with workouts because I ate a certain food or even if I eat past the point of fullness. I am free from food restrictions, fears, and pressuring myself to be "perfect" in any way. ❀️❀️❀️#loveyall

❓WHAT IS INTUITIVE EATING? ❓
β€’

Do you currently practice Intuitive Eating? Have you ever tried to do it before? What has been your biggest struggle with it? πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
β€’

It was such a foreign concept to me whenever I started learning more about intuitive eating a few years ago. The notion that I would no longer be on some sort of "diet" and/or tracking calories seemed IMPOSSIBLE to me. There was NO WAY that I would be able to trust my body, listen to my hunger, and not overeat ice cream and cookies....right? πŸ™…πŸΌ
β€’

What's neat is that learning and practicing the concept of #FlexibleDieting (i.e. tracking your proteins, carbs, and fats) helped me by seeing that one single food won't undo progress/make me "fat" just like one single food won't make me lose weight immediately. I used to restrict myself from eating anything I deemed as a "bad" food (cookies, candy, fries, donuts, pasta, etc) until I could no longer take it. I would eventually cave and eat 10x the amount of these foods that I otherwise would have been satisfied with. 😣
β€’

After allowing myself to eat these trigger foods and "bad foods" again, they began to lose their luster. Transitioning into Intuitive Eating has been much more smooth because of my knowledge of macronutrients and flexible dieting. What's craziest is that by restricting myself LESS, my ability to have balance with foods such as these was so much easier to find. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
β€’

Basically eating intuitively means going back to the days when we ate when we were hungry and stopped when we were full. I think the last time I did this (aside from now) was in my childhood. Back before dieting, worrying about fat grams, calories, and my weight; I listened to my body and ate accordingly. For many of us it can still sound like something completely unattainable but I'm here to remind you that it IS possible, but it just takes practice, patience, and a complete shift in mindset. ❀️

😱BEFORE & AFTER πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
β€’

It's amazing what a simple change of fabric can do to help flatter your specific body. Y'all know how tickled I have been by that yellow #bikini and I appreciate all of the engagement I got on that post. This just goes to show how people love to see REAL on #Instagram. πŸ‘πŸΌ
β€’

I'm tired of the fake, staged pictures, immense amounts of filters and editing, freaking PHOTOSHOP, and overly arched booty pictures on the discover page. πŸ˜‚
β€’

This is me, beautiful in both, with lines on my asscheeks from Matt's office chair, where I spent several hours working on client information, editing videos, paying bills, and working on my ebook. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ β€’

This post isn't to discredit either version of my body but more so to encourage others to embrace theirs. Cellulite, marks where my high-waisted shorts dug into my belly fat, some jiggly bits, and most importantly a HEALTHY AND HAPPY SMILE ON MY FACE. This is me. This body is capable of some damn amazing stuff. I work my tushie off in the #gym because I love to. Sometimes I eat "healthy" foods and sometimes I fall face-first into a pint of Ben & Jerry's Seven Layer Coconut Bar ice cream and forget to come up for air. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
β€’

The appreciation that I have for both my physical body and my #mentalhealth are the strongest they have ever been. No longer will I allow a #diet or a contest prep change this. Hope this can bring some sunshine and #bodypositivity to your day. ❀️😘

πŸ‘‡πŸΌDON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN/CANNOT DO. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Thought I could show you guys what happens BEFORE the airwalk #pullups start. 😜 (@blairwalking is my pull-up/airwalk account.) πŸ‘πŸΌ
β€’

Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something. I was told that I couldn't make a career out of my online coaching. I was told that I would lose strength and feel crappy as a #vegan. πŸ’ͺ🏼
β€’

I've never loved what I do more. I've never been stronger or felt more amazing. Do you. Be kind and compassionate. Don't listen to the negativity of others. β€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌ#positivevibes #motivation #inspire

πŸ‘‡πŸΌIT'S NOT YOUR BODY'S FAULT; IT'S THE #BIKINI! πŸ‘πŸΌ
β€’

You'd think I would have learned my lesson from ordering through IG ads by now...but alas...that day has not yet come. #getsmeeverytime πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
β€’

Anyone else feel like trying on swimsuits is akin to playing with a faulty, old, wobbling grenade? It's as if you can either come out, thankful and semi-pleased that you didn't lose your life OR chaos ensues and you come out with a tattered version of your former self. πŸ™‹πŸΌ
β€’

I saw this picture of the swimsuit and thought how cute, fun, and flattering it looked. Little did I know that what was pictured and what I got were two COMPLETELY separate swimsuits. The one I received runs VERY SMALL (I ordered a medium and it feels like it's made for someone who is 5'0 and about 105lbs. HELLO! That is NOT a 'medium!') Not only does it run VERY SMALL, but there are small elastic bands everywhere that definitely are in NO WAY FORGIVING to any degree of bodyfat. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
β€’

My first thought was, "I KNEW I didn't look good!" and I immediately wanted to cut my body down. I took a breath and remembered that 1) this swimsuit is NOT the flattering one that was pictured and, 2) the swimsuit just wasn't made for MY specific body. It's the SWIMSUIT that is wrong for me, not my body that is wrong. I took it off and moved on with my life, as I hope others can do too. ❀️
β€’

On another note, I'm now in search of another cute, relatively cheap, high-waisted, and FLATTERING bikini, like the one pictured (and one that actually arrives as pictured, not a completely different suit). One that is built to flatter a body with some extra body fat/muscle. 😘Feel free to leave recommendations/tag below if you know of any! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ #loveyall

☝🏼FROM LESS THAN 1,000 CALORIES PER DAY TO FREEDOM FROM #DIETING πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
β€’

#TransformationTuesday ❀️I used to be so trapped in the "diet mentality." On the left I was about 120lbs, soaking wet and obsessed with keeping that scale number low. I wasn't physically strong because I feared lifting heavy & gaining any amount of weight (even if it was muscle). I severely restricted my calories and aimed to do #cardio daily. I would stop by Planet Fitness on my way to/from community college to get on the elliptical or treadmill. Fat grams were an obsession of mine at this time and I often clocked in under 10-15g daily, with only a few hundred calories coming from protein/carbs. πŸ’”
β€’

What's crazy to me is how I functioned...I don't know how I had the energy to do anything aside from sitting and EXISTING. Regardless I was very happy with everything else in life, aside from my own body. Food was a main focus of mine, whether it was counting fat grams, calories, or dreaming about foods that I "couldn't eat." I eventually would cave and often ate entire boxes of cereal in one go. πŸ’”
β€’

Flash forward to SEVEN YEARS LATER and I have FINALLY broken free from the unhealthy "diet" mentality for GOOD. It's taken me years of trial and error, many diet cycles, and truly learning how to LOVE MYSELF to do this. It's not a linear journey and I still spent a good amount of time in various fad diets between then and now. I'm no longer afraid of my body changing sizes and I have learned to appreciate what it IS rather than what I think it IS NOT. I have finally realized that life is TOO DAMN SHORT to spend another minute hating my body or not appreciating what it is capable of. πŸ’ͺ🏼CRUSH THIS DAY LIKE #WONDERWOMAN CRUSHES HER ENEMIES πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

πŸ’πŸΌ#FITSPO BE LIKE, "JUST ROLLED OUT OF BED LIKE THIS!"πŸ˜‚
β€’

Oh good morning! I'm just casually posing in the bathroom of my in-laws, no flexing, twisting, #nomakeup, no effort. #thisisme and this is how my booty/hair always look. #nofilter, no contrasting/sharpening IG tools were used. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚#notsrs
β€’

On a more realistic note, I think I made my low back sore trying so hard to twist/pose like this. Nooo your favorite fitspo doesn't have that plump, round tushie perking up in your face like that all day every day. Pictures are carefully taken, chosen, and filtered. Just because your butt doesn't look like SuzieSquatsALot or you don't do workouts as intense as HardcoreHannah doesn't mean you aren't a badass or "fitspo" yourself. Find what you're passionate about and share it with others. Be realistic about your #goals. Encourage others. Don't be afraid to fail. And ALWYAS. I repeat...ALWAYS do the #bootypose. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
