Tonight, with @Tribeca, we hosted Baltimore residents at City Pop-Up: Baltimore, a free, public screening of the hit @MarvelStudios film #BlackPanther held at the @UnderArmour House At Fayette, operated by @LivingClassroom. “This is about lifting up our city, and there is no excuse for us not being successful. This is our community. This is what happens when we bring people together. This is Baltimore. You are all Baltimore.” -- Baltimore @mayorpugh50

Since 2011, our Arts Innovation and Management program has helped more than 500 small and midsize U.S. arts organizations in all creative disciplines – including theater, music and dance – see improvements in board development, fundraising and more. Last week, as part of @MikeBloomberg’s American Cities Initiative, we've expanded the program to seven new cities: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Denver, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and D.C.

“When I wake up, I feel really good knowing that I made it to this great place and now I’m going somewhere even greater. Looking back, I can see that it would have been really hard to get here without CollegePoint.” —Tom, a former CollegePoint student now studying at @UNCChapelHill. He, Frosilda, Michelle and Bryan are only four of the nearly 40,000 high-achieving, lower-income students who have participated in our CollegePoint initiative – and now they’re attending top colleges around the country. This week we convened partners at our Women’s Economic Development program to evaluate the impact of our investment on the lives of 300,000 women and their families over 10 years.

Climate change and carbon emissions have an impact on public health, but we have the power to fight for climate justice and access to energy. @LittleSunEnergy products help put global affordable energy in reach – providing safe, clean alternatives to costly, toxic sources like kerosene lamps – a clear example of how what’s good for the environment is also good for public health. #EarthDay

On view April 17 until October 28, @MetMuseum’s annual Cantor Roof Garden Commission is returning with our support with an installation from renowned Pakistani sculptor Huma Bhabha. Inspired by a classic American science-fiction film, “We Come in Peace” serves as a dialogue of displacement, endurance and survival, allowing guests to visualize tales of foreign visitation through Bhabha’s abstract figures made out of everyday materials. Inspiring to see the women coffee cooperative leaders training flight attendants on @FlyRwandAir, which is now serving @QuestionCoffee, produced by the Relationship Coffee Institute supported by our economic development program. These women entrepreneurs represent the largest class of women coffee growers anywhere in the world producing specialty coffee for the airline.

Since 2011, the cost of an average one-bedroom in Los Angeles has increased more than 60%. As part of their work to find solutions to local challenges, our Innovation Team looks at creative ways to combat rising rents, including the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) initiative recently named the winner in the Urban Design category of @FastCompany‘s 2018 World Changing Ideas Awards. Here, the team breaks ground on one of the units, with 10,000 planned by 2021.
