I spent the last full day of my trip in Zurich. I’ve been so wiped out this week recovering from Hospitality On the Beach, staying in hostels, sleeping overnight in the Munich Airport (if you know me well you know I’m the lightest sleeper ever). I started to get really negative about the last few days of the trip because I just wanted to be home with my dog. One of my downfalls is my tendency to indulge in negative thought patterns (especially when sleep deprived/hungover), and this week I had to actively push through that and force myself to think positively. I didn’t want to regret not taking in every moment of this trip that I worked so hard for and looked forward to for so long! It would be a shame to look back and think I wasted any minute of it. So today, utterly exhausted, I walked around this beautiful city. I ate some bomb food (which I was sorely missing in Croatia), finished reading Cloud Atlas, navigated my way by maps and just chilled. I’m so glad that I did. I’m happy to wrap up my trip on this note and in high spirits for the journey home to my Coppah Nugz, friends & family.
