I made my first beat on MTV Music Generator that my grandmother got me back in 7th grade. 5 years later, I was making beats in my dorm at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. I dropped out and was about to get a job that I would have to work 12 hour shifts to keep. My grandmother said if I did that, I would be tired from work and lose all my creativity. She gave me $800 to move to Atlanta to pursue music full time. After working with @fabbydavisjr1 & @CharlieStardom I decided to move to LA. I slept on couches, floors, and in my car to make this dream of mine work. Fast forward 10 years later I’m introduced to this new artist @6lack by the way of a song called PRBLMS. My homie @loshendrix360 was working with 6 at the time and connected the dots between us. Today we’re nominated for a Grammy for the #FREE6LACK album I’m blessed to be part of. Thank you to my grandmother, and anyone who helped me along the way. Thank you to @HelloItsAudrey for the hospitality in NYC. And the biggest thank you goes to @6lack and the entire @lvrngram team. Wait until everyone hears this album we’re working on!
