Bitter Phew  Sydney craft beer bar, sporting one of Australia's largest selections of craft beer 🍻👌🏼 Australia's #1 Beer Venue of 2017 - Beer & Brewer Magazine

Come and get your juice!

@akashabrew’s Lupulin Fog NEIIPA is on tap tasting fiiine, looking hazy and already drawing a thirsty crowd.

That moment when you remember 425s are at 330ml prices at Bitter Phew on Monday’s. 😮🍻
.
Check out our full tap list featuring beers from @twometretall, @yeastieboysbeer, @mpbrewery, @deschutesbeer, @garageproject and @moondogbrewing - on our Untappd venue page.

Good conversation + even better beer = the perfect way to spend a Sunday. 🍻

New Zealand's @garageproject constantly make us reconsider what can be done with beer.
.
For years now, Garage Project have been pushing beer drinkers to reconsider the old taboo that "grape and grain should never be mixed".
.
This weekend, we’re excited to be bringing to Sydney their latest showcase of Grape Harvest beers. This series of beers uses the idea of infusing each batch of wort with fresh crushed grape juice, before fermenting the two together. The results need to be drunk to be believed.
.
Get ready for a brilliantly blended weekend of beautiful beverages.

Twilight of the Gods is a big, very limited release from New Zealand’s @garageproject. We’re lucky enough to have one case of these bad boys (which happens to be the only case in New South Wales)!
.
This strong Blonde Ale has been co-fermented with late harvest Riesling juice, before being aged in ex-Chardonnay barrels. Clocking in at 13.6% this is a drinking experience that is meant to be shared.
.
Get the gang together, split a bottle and take on the Gods at our Garage Project event tomorrow.

This Thursday, Byron Bay's @stoneandwood are coming back to Bitter Phew with their very special annual release: the malty and roasty ‘Stone Beer'. We're lucky to have one keg of the 2018 Vintage of Stone Beer; a Porter that has had wood-fired stones added to the kettle. But we've also secured something else pretty damn special for you thirsty guys and girls - a Barrel Aged version of their 2017 Vintage!

This Barrel Aged version of Stone Beer has spent 12 months in whiskey and port barrels, before being blended. The result is a beer with velvety chocolate and vanilla flavours that complement the already present aromas of roasted cocoa and caramel.

We're the only place you'll be able to find the Barrel Aged Stone Beer on tap close to the Sydney CBD. Don't miss out on this very special release.

These two Bitter boys have been busy setting up the bar, preparing us for our events with @stoneandwood and @garageproject happening later this week.
.
They’ve picked out a couple of bottles to share when they knock off tonight. Come and chuck a squat with them, and make the most of our usual Monday deal, 425ml beers for the price of a 330ml.
.
We’re open from 5pm. 🤙🏼🍻

Aftermath is a ludicrously hopped IIPA from Victoria’s @kaijubeer. Expect flavours of ripe pineapple and citrus, against a full toffee-like malt backbone.

It’s a welcome addition to our ever evolving package list of fresh af IPAs. Make it a welcome addition to your Sunday afternoon recovery session.

Beautiful Sydney Winter’s day sun is shining, but all I got is @brekeriet Purple Rain.

Fermented with black currants, passion fruit, lacto and brett. This Berliner Weisse is a dry and puckering way to sit out in the afternoon sun.
.
Tap showcase has kicked off and now pouring!

You’ve almost made it through your Monday, and you deserve a treat! .
How do a couple of 425ml beers at a 330ml price sound? Because that’s what we’re offering up, right through until midnight.
.
Come and hang out with us at the bar tonight. 😘🍻

In the southern Swedish county of Skåne, there is a little brewery doing something a bit different.
.
@brekeriet is run by the three Ek brothers, Frederik, Christian and André. They are the only Swedish brewery fermenting with nothing but wild yeast and bacteria. The boys also add local berries and fruits to a secondary fermentation which add flavour and complexity to their wild and sour ales.
.
We love utsökt Svensk öl here at Bitter Phew, so we're real excited to be sharing these beers with you on the evening of Thursday July 5.
