Couldn’t see anything more fitting than a picture with this stud to kick off 2018.
Although I threw rocks at him the day my parents brought him home from the hospital, he has always been my best friend. With only a year apart in age, we did it all together. Played in the sprinklers on hot summer days, made dirt pies and obviously ate them, played make believe until probably the age of _____ (I’ll never tell 🤣) and even played on our first t-ball team together at the ages of 4 and 5. But as we got older and started to find our paths, It didn’t come to Abel so easily. I found athletics and rode that train through college and continued to stay active into my adult life. My brother has faced many challenges, both personally and professionally. Although he may have felt lost and discouraged over the years, I knew that he could do anything and would find it. I dreamt of the day that my brother would no longer feel lost or displaced. That he would use all of the lessons, failures and successes that he’s experienced and be able to apply them towards making something great of himself. You see, as his big sister he will always be my best friend but now I get to call him my hero as well ❤️ Congratulations again to this super human who is a perfect example of it’s never too late to start a new chapter in life. To never give up. To make life changing decisions and kick ass while doing it! I am SOOO proud of you Abel. Keep kicking ass as I know you do and congratulations to all of the other men out there today in MCRD!! 🤟🏽
