Yesterday we got to spend some time with Leo. It seems like the Nel family is very serious about Sport πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ and they all have this very serious look 😏 What a gorgeous little boy😍 @jean_nel88 loves his little nephew to bits ❀️

I've been training my butt off these past few days (I gained a good 2kgs from eating like a little 🐷 last week). I've changed my cardio a bit, challenging myself which ultimately keeps me motivated and excited for every session. I did some sled pulling and road running today with my friend Keith, you killed me 😣 if I don't sweat like this with every session, I feel like I'm wasting my time.

So freaking happy to see some bootie gains again πŸ˜‹ happy Tuesday ❀❀

Better late than never. Happy #humpday 🍎🍏 I'm pretty hard on myself like most of us are that follow a healthy lifestyle. I naturally have more water retention on my tummy (legs not so much) and the only way to keep that down and maintain my desired look, is to do my daily cardio (which I love), 2 sessions a day (cardio and weights with my first session, weight training with my second) along with a strict diet. A week of eating crappy will result in 2kgs of weight gain in my case. Needless to say, it's not always easy getting my two sessions done (when I'm prepping it's always possible no matter what πŸ˜‚), so I sometimes become an irritating idiot that grabs my tummy and complains about the extra little bits (it's really not much, in my mind it is😐) BUT today, a friend reminded me that I really don't look as bad as I think, that I maintain a healthy bodyfat, I'm healthy and happy πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘† and a stage ready body all year round isn't always realistic --- something I know very well. It's good to sometimes be reminded of these things, I'm thankful to have individuals that talk some sense into my extremely stubborn brain. @jeannel88 you are one of them. Thank you πŸ‘ My point is ---- Love your body and embrace the stages it undergoes ❀ ok I'm done now πŸ˜‚

Yesterday was leg day with @charlenedonaldson ☝🏼 We combined cardio, functional training and weight training in the routine. Video 1 - 30 sec sprints with 15 jumping squats in between. Repeat for 10 min. Video 2 - each movement x 15 reps, no rest, 4 sets. Incorporating explosive, self body weighted movements with a high amount of reps have helped me immensely to decrease the size of my quads. Great success πŸ™πŸΌ PS - I wear a waist trimmer while I train, I don't have a fat tummy I swear β˜πŸΌπŸ˜‚
