Give these a try.
Pick a weight you can control and make sure to use a full range of motion (stretch and squeeze). Play around with the height of the cables until you feel the contraction in your upper chest towards your collarbone.

•Balancing school & exercising •
There is one solution that can help you balance the two and that is creating a habit of being disciplined. For me, completing my school work is a must AND working out is a must. Some days one of the two (usually school work) takes up most of my time. However, since I have made both studying and working out habits, I do not feel completely accomplished until both are done. Don’t get me wrong, there are days that I do not feel like doing either. But those are the days that will separate you from the rest. Have the discipline to do what you need to, regardless of how you feel.

- How do I get lean? -
This is a question I receive a lot and the answer is simple.
A caloric deficit and time.
Begin by weighing yourself one morning as soon as you wake up. During the following 7 days, track everything you eat (MyFitnessPal is a good app for this). After the week is over and on the same day as the previous week, wake up and weigh yourself in the same clothes. Now that you have your 2 weights and all the calories consumed in between, you can get an idea of what your maintenance calories are. If your goal is to lose weight then lower your daily cals by 250-500 and give it TIME. Getting out of shape doesn’t happen over night and neither does getting IN shape.

Stuck in a rut and feel like you’ve plateaued?
- Try switching up your exercises. For the last 12 weeks or so, I’ve started all my leg days with leg press. My progression has stalled and while that could be due to other factors (sleep, under eating, too much volume), I feel all of those variables have been kept in check. So, now it’s time to change my first exercise, I’ll be front squatting first on leg day and focus on progressing through this exercise until my progress begins to stall. I will then assess where I’m at and if all other variables are in check, I will choose a new main exercise and progress through that exercise. Don’t just train hard, train smart as well.

CUTTING VS. BULKING!
Either way, your meals don’t have to be boring. I choose to eat the same foods, only difference being the quantity. Here we have Two homemade pizzas -
Swipe right for the macros and take a look at the choice of ingredients on each. As you will see, for the lesser calorie pizza, I chose a lower calorie crust, fat-free cheese, and no pineapple.
Nothing drastic, but small choices overtime can make a big difference in your physique!
P.S. - I’m still on that bulk life..so both pizzas were consumed in the making of this post🤪

Physique update.
163.8 lbs this morning. Getting thiccc but definitely the strongest and leanest I’ve been at this weight which means we’ve got some new muscle under all the fat.

If it’s been said once ..it needs said 100 times; bodybuilding is a marathon not a sprint. Growing muscle takes an insane amount of discipline, consistency, and patience.
If you have been lifting for a few years, muscle growth will come even slower. Stick to the basics, do what you know works, and most importantly..be consistent. Do not be discouraged when you don’t see results right away ..these pics were takin: 9 months apart (in a caloric surplus the whole time), 20 lb difference, 2 Leg days/week -
And this is what I have to show for it. If you’re looking for instant results/gratification..bodybuilding may not be the sport for you. However, if you’re willing to put in the work day in and day out, the payoff will be more than rewarding.
