HERE BE A GIVEAWAY—keep reading for more info. September is a crazy busy month for us—we just got back from photographing our Spring/Summer 2018 collection (as much as I am 100% ready for fall and winter, I can't wait to show you these incredible new pieces in new yarns), we started our Fall knit-along (#pv4kal), we're not quite halfway finished sharing all of our awesome Fall/Winter 17 collection, and to top it all off, we're going to spend some time over the next week talking about one of our newest yarn partners, Ístex (Lopi) yarns!
To kick it off, we'd like to "introduce" you to Plötulopi. Berroco just started carrying this yarn a few months ago, though it's been around for years, and we're so excited to be sharing it with you. Amy Christoffers jumped at the opportunity to use this unique yarn in a new design for @knittymag, named the Glaswegian Cardigan. This stranded yoke cardigan requires no steeking or anything crazy like that, and works up in a super lightweight but warm cardigan for fall. If you want to win the yarn to knit your own Glaswegian Cardigan, head to today's post (9/21) on the Berroco blog (blog.berroco.com) to read all about Amy's travel misadventures (including why the name is a nod to Glasgow, Scotland) and learn how to enter the giveaway. Giveaway is open to anyone in the world ages 18 and older, and comments must be received by 11:59 PM EST on September 28.
