Berlinale  Feb 20 – Mar 1, 2020. One of the world's largest public film festivals and an indispensable forum for the global film community. #Berlinale Imprint:

Dear Berlinale friends, it was a great pleasure to have you here – all of you! Here's our last look behind, before we glide into hibernation & recreate for #Berlinale2020, taking place from Feb. 20 – Mar. 1, 2020. See you soon and afresh! ❤

With 'Hanna', 'False Flag 2', '8 Days', 'Quicksand', 'Follow the Money III', 'Il était une Seconde Fois' and 'M – A City hunts a Murderer' @seriesatberlinale let us enjoy some of the latest international series productions on the big screen. Flashback💥

11 days, 1 regional focus, 16 films & 23 directors – @berlinalenative treated us with a memorable compilation of indigenous cinematic storytelling from one of the most scenic areas on Earth: the Pacific region.

First the film, then the food… Thanks to its stimulating mix of cinematic & culinary art @berlinale.kulinarisches.kino once again activated multiple senses through food for thought – reflecting on the impact of food, consumption, and gender imbalance in professional cooking. Personalities like Maya Gallus, @angelacooking, @HayaMolcho, and Yotam @ottolenghi joined us for film screenings, delicacies and talks.

With a mix of daring themes, genres, and aesthetics, our traditional audience favourite @berlinale.panorama set us up with extraordinary cinema, offering friction & providing material for discussion. International talents such as @JayroBustamante, #JennaBass, @jonahhill, #JoannaHogg, @guy_nattiv, @caroline_poggi, made #Berlinale2019 really special. Here's a little thank-you-throwback to start out the week!

Cinema, installations, performances, and panel events – Forum and @berlinale_forum_expanded enriched #Berlinale2019 with an open platform for artistic formats & invited us to a new venue at the @silent.green Kulturquartier in Berlin, Wedding. If you haven't had the pleasure yet, there's still a few more days left to catch up: The Forum expanded group exhibition is still on until March 9, 2019!

Though it's primarily a home for young audiences, not only the young folks out there were spoiled! @berlinale_generation once more provided us with new impulses for young people's cinema that goes beyond conventions, intriguing us with newest features by @erikschmittfilms, @elizacapai, @rimadas13, @thejenniferreeder and a whole lot more! Here's a little flashback 🤩

Short films tend to radically address aesthetic, social and political issues – thanks to @berlinale_shorts we got to again discover numerous qualities of this unique cinematic form during #Berlinale2019. Here's a little throwback to 11 intensive days full of screenings & extensive artist talks.

The 2019 @PerspektiveDeutschesKino once again delivered a tour de force of contemporary German filmmaking. Here are some impressions of this year's programme, including Maryam Zaree and Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay, winners of this year's Compass-Perspektive-Award and GWFF Best First Feature Award, respectively.

The @BerlinaleTalents 2019 provided six days of packed programmes during #Berlinale2019: workshops, networking events, and talks with the likes of Charlotte Rampling, @DavidPatrickLowery, @RobertoSaviano_Official, and members of the International Jury. And Netflix VP of Original Films @Tendo Nagenda also stopped by. Congratulations to all the 250 #Talents, who came to Berlin from across the world!

Our bear was really busy these last couple of days… have a look at what he's been up to. 😉

Give it up one more time for our International Jury! #SebastiánLelio, #JulietteBinoche, #RajendraRoy, #TrudieStyler, #JustinChang, and #SandraHüller.
