The Bentoria Company

Thank you so much @sycamorechopsngrills I was a bit too sick to actually enjoy the food but everyone else had the best things to say about your small chops and meal. .
.
You see doing business with her was very risky because I met and chose her here on instagram. So I was very very worried, clearly, I had no reason to be. Apart from her delivery which was a bit delayed because of the traffic, everything else went off without a hitch. Her meals were very well made and the portions were sooo large! So if you're in Lagos and looking for caterer, look no further.

Please tag them oh. I'll review all the vendors so you don't have to go through this!😣😣😣

Lagos is sorted. Please tag vendors in these two locations!! Thank you!😘😘😘

Your personal brand is the “mental picture” others have of you. It’s the sum total of values, talents and actions that others tend to automatically associate with you. .
.
As a result of increased unemployment rates, the market place has become very competitive. On any given day, there may be well over 1000 people providing the exact same service as you are. The only way to get ahead and carve out a niche for yourself is by differentiating yourself from the 1000.
.
.
Let’s take the hair industry for instance, if the only thing people know about you is that you sell hair, you’re going to continuously keep chasing after clients. The people who have risen to the top of the food chain are those individuals and companies that were committed to building their personal and corporate brands.
.
.
@chiomagoodhair has built a luxurious brand strictly for the rich – you need to break the bank to afford her hair. @mizwanneka @wholesalenaija have built a brand around affordability – you can look good without breaking the bank. Inbetween these two, you find @hairbyugo – she’s built a brand that speaks affordable luxury, usually for working class women. All three women sell hair, all three women are highly successful and all three women have cultivated a personal brand that has separated them from the general market. They have carved out a niche for themselves such that their customers know how and where to find them. Their target audience naturally gravitates towards them.
.
.
If you want to be oversubscribed, you must get your name and value out there. Build a brand that separates you from the market, carve out a niche for yourself and watch the customers roll in. .

Thank you so much for tagging the vendors, you've made my job a lot easier. I will select one in each of the three states at the end of today. The three businesses will get reviewed on my page after the event. However, I noticed some business mistakes on some of the vendors' pages and thought I should point them out including:
.

Absence of their location in bio so I coudn't easily identify what state the business operates in. .

Absence of customer reviews so I coudn't tell whether their products and services are actually nice.
.

Poor presentation. The orders are not big ones but they are for a high profile event and the food will be photographed, so presentation is just as important as the taste. .

some were tagged but don't have even a single picture of their work on their page! Excuse me ma, how can we discuss business if we can't see the products for sale?? .

Errrmmm, Abuja and Owerri people don't you enjoy small chops? So many tags for Lagos bot very few for Abuja and Owerri.😣😣
.
.
You see sometimes it's really not your village people that are doing you. You're just not taking all the advice we publish seriously. How can you be following me and you're still making these mistakes, how?? 😭😭😭😭

Please tag a tested and tried food vendor in these three states. Thank you.

What do @mizwanneka @chiomagoodhair @askdamz have in common? They have built very strong personal brands which have contributed in no small measure to the growth of their businesses. In the following posts, I'll be teaching you how to build a strong, reliable brand for yourself which will translate to business growth and brand loyalty.

As long as you are involved in a legitimate business, be proud of your hustle. Every successful business you see out there today started from this point and built their way up. While some people had the resources to jump a few steps, most went through this exact process. So next time someone asks you what you do for a living, proudly tell them I have an online store, I make cakes, I make braided wigs, I'm a social media manager. Whatever you do, be proud to tell people about it and be proud of yourself for starting!

A lot of businesses find it very easy to give away items in a bid to generate more business and attract new customers but won't devote thesame resources into sustaining existing relationships! Everyone likes to feel appreciated, beyond telling your loyal customers how much you appreciate them, you need to show them. When last did you offer to waive delivery costs for a loyal customer? When last did you include a surprise gift in a parcel ordered by a loyal customer?
.
.
My girl @rikiescakes understands this so well and her brand loyalty is over the roof. I've used her services since 2011 and in all that time, I have never contracted a different baker even when I'm outside the state. Yes, I waybill cakes from Owerri to Abuja and port-harcourt because I'm loyal to her brand! It's not that Abuja and Lagos don't have excellent bakers, but my customer experience with her is always incredible so why use someone else. I am so loyal that I've become an unpaid brand ambassador! How do you reward your loyal customers??

Everyone's journey is different. While some people will achieve success in a year, for others it may take a decade. Don't compare your journey to anyone else's. Do your best, remain consistent, enjoy the process and we all will eventually win. .

I will be auditing one page tomorrow. Sell yourself in the comment section and it could be you!
