After the British finals I had no intention of going to Miami, I just wanted the diet to be over. But then I realised that it wasn't a chance to be missed so I went for it. Throwback to the first ever pic of my physique that I uploaded on social media when I was 27 and a vacuum pose that I did last year. In the first pic I didn't diet or know anything about it but I trained a lot and played football which helped. In the second pic I learnt about diet and learnt how to do things like the vacuum pose. I was intrigued by the pose when I saw people like @owenpowell_oldschool and @officialfrankzane do it, and when I could finally do it I was over the moon.

Enjoying training with other people at the moment. During prep last year I was really anti social I didn't want to speak to anyone, I even swapped gyms towards the end so I didn't know anyone. It's crazy what having a low body fat can do to you. Now I'm the opposite and I just want to talk to everyone in the gym, but not too much! There's pros and cons to training with someone and training alone. 2 minute ab workout. 10 popovers, 15 seconds flutter kicks, 10 cocoons, 10 renegade rows, 10 cable crunches. One round is enough but I recommend doing up to 5.
A strong core is good for injury prevention. However I've said it before, if your diet isn't right you will never see your abs. The biggest culprit that I've seen is alcohol consumption. It slows down your metabolism, it's empty calories, and training, especially weight training, is very hard to do when you're hung over. Health is holistic though, and a drink or two with friends or to celebrate something is great.
