Our friend brought us some fresh wild caught fish 🎣 from Ventura so I couldn't wait to cook it! πŸ˜‹ I seasoned it using @primalpalate and it didn't disappoint! .

Added some fermented veggies from our local farmers market. Homemade guacamole topped with @traderjoeslist everything but the bagel seasoning, beets, cabbage, cucumbers, jicama, and I think there's some Romaine lettuce under their too? πŸ˜‚ .

The first exercise looks really ridiculous πŸ™ˆ but it works so well to burn the under part of zeee glutes πŸ‘ I try to really dig in with my heel heel!

I usually do 4 sets of 12 reps for these exercises.

No rest just switch legs immediately.

At every meal I try to incorporate a balance of good quality proteins, carbs and fats! I actually lean more towards a heavy portion of good quality fat to keep me satiated, have long lasting energy and keep my blood sugar stabilized! 😬

Happy Monday y'all! In case you missed this yummy homemade apple pie from Sunday dinner in my insta stories I thought I would share! πŸ˜‹

What I love about this recipe from @thepaleomom is that it's insanely easy, minimal ingredients and my daughter loved it! Win,win!! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ‰ #
I only changed 2 ingredients and used what I had on hand.

Her recipe:
Pie crust
2 1/4 cup @ottos_cassava_flour
3/4 cup lard (I used grass fed ghee)
1/8 tsp sea salt
6-8 TBSP cold water

β€’ mix everything in bowl with wire whisk except water. Slowly add water 1 TBSP at a time. Set in fridge while you prepare filling.

Filling:
6 cups peeled Granny Smith apples (I used a variety of apples from our garden)
1/4 maple sugar ( I used organic coconut sugar from TJ's)
2TBSP fresh lemon juice from lemon
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of cloves (I didn't use) β€’ throw everything in a bowl and mix throughly, I used my hands 😬

β€’ recipe said to roll out dough but I was super lazy and pressed for time, and not to mention my dough rolling skillzzzzz are not the greatest.....so I cheated and just smashed half of the dough in the bottom of the glass pie pan. I rolled out the other half of the dough in between parchment paper. Throw apples on top of pie crust, place other rolled out dough on top form the crust around edge, cut slits on top to vent, throw in oven for one hour at 350 and then enjoy! πŸ˜‹

Anyone else? πŸ™‹πŸ» Just because life is crazy and throws a curve ball doesn't mean you have to sacrifice meal time too by eating fast food. Trust me been their done that. .
Real food meals can be simple, pretty, delicious, and they don't need to be time consuming or complicated. .
*** disclaimer my meals usually aren't pretty but I'm ok with that as long as they taste good! πŸ™ƒπŸ˜¬
