Felt sooooo good to be back in the gym after a long vacation. I was still super active on vacation spear fishing, wake boarding, hiking, and paddle boarding but nothing beats a good gym session! πŸ’ͺ🏼 What's your favorite workout? πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Hiyaaaaa! It feels so good to be back! Vacation was amazing but I am definitely a creature of habit and routine! Ya feel me? Anyone else? πŸ™ƒ
Pre workout breakfast. You guessed it Chia pudding πŸ™„ I swear it's under the pile of goodies! lol
Did you know Walnuts (or little brains) πŸ˜† as my daughter calls them are an excellent source of anti-inflammatory omega-3 essential fatty acids, in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is essential to the body. πŸ€”
Walnuts are also rich in antioxidants, as well as a very good source of the minerals; manganese and copper. Contrary to popular belief a fairly high amount of good quality fats are needed for optimal health! ✌🏼

What's your favorite thing in your skin care routine?? πŸ€”
I would have to say mine is weekly clay masks, and here is why.......

Clay face masks benefit the skin by using capillary action to pull out substances on and underneath the skins surface, like bacteria, toxins 😷 and irritants from the skin. The mask gently exfoliates dead skin cells and blackheads without friction. It stimulates and increases circulation, tightens skin, and refines enlarged pores.

1. A little bit goes a long way.
2. Make sure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

How to get weird looks in the gym part 1! πŸ™ƒ
I don't know about any of you but I get insanely bored with doing the same things in the gym week in and week out.
Not to mention
sometimes the equipment you need isn't available!
So creativity is key.... well at least for me anyway! πŸ€“

Cheers to the weekend! πŸŽ‰πŸ™ŒπŸ» just thought I would leave you guys with a little food for thought on this lovely Friday.........
Did you know nuts contain nutritional inhibitors called phytic acid and goitrogens? πŸ€” Phytic acid when eaten binds itself to minerals in the gut and prevents the digestive systems ability to break it down. Goitrogens are substances that may suppress the function of the thyroid gland by interfering with the uptake of iodine . 😳 What can you do?....... soak..... yo..... nuts....... πŸ˜ƒ here's how..... πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
1. 2 cup nuts
2. 3-4 cups filtered water.
3. 1TBSP good quality salt, like sea salt, no table salt.
4. Dump everything into a big glass bowl. Make sure nuts are completely covered with water.
5. Soak for 6-7 hours. Rinse.
6. Place on cookie sheets in oven at 150* till completely dry.
7. Store in Mason jars. ✌🏼
