It's simple: calories in > calories out. This is the basis of weight gain. You need to eat MORE calories than you're burning if you want to put on some mass.
Here are some nutrition tips to think about:
✅ It will hard to eat big portions at first, but on some meals you'll need to force yourself to eat more than you should. It will take time, but you'll eventually get used to it.
✅ This is one of the rare times to eat high-calorie foods. Don't necessarily eat junk, but eat calorie-dense meals (even beverages).
✅ Think high-protein, high-carb.
✅ At times 'mass gainer' supplements may be used to get added calories, proteins and carbs easily.
