Is it necessary to match the strap color with the case color perfectly? This is one of the frequent inquires we’ve been receiving.
In our opinion, it’s not.
In the past retail experiences, we’ve demonstrated a lot to customers, playing around with the contrast is much better looking than having the matching tones between 2.
As long as the leather case is well fitted & strap structure is good, the outcome would looks nice. (Although the colors of the leather case and strap are exactly the same today, but because we’re constantly touching our case when shooting, eventually their colors would change differently, not to mention the color changes differently when the leather thickness and structure is totally different between both, these factors affect the leather aging process too.) .
The set up in this photo belongs to a customer, not just the color, the case and the strap are not even the same material, and we think they blended with each other so naturally. 👌🏽Thank you @fast_aperture for sharing the photo. #Barton1972 (Strap: #Braided_Milltary)
