Remember tonight’s full moon is the perfect opportunity to release anything that no longer serves you and to also welcome positivity and set good intentions.
The mays flower moon represents abundance and love. Embrace it. Self love most of all. 💜🔥 Tonight’s will be celebrated with a yin style yoga practice.
My mantra “I release the need for those not serving my purpose or Self. I’m not afraid to let go. In their place, I receive love, joy and abundance”

Hello my lovelies. So it’s been a while since I practiced. After a long post op recovery I’m back on the mat. So....can you help me out and suggest me an asana/yoga pose to capture?
Think I may start with fierce/chair pose? Bare x

To bring our focus onto the future and worry about scenarios that ‘could happen’ is absurd! We cannot predict our future so much so that we waste our present moments worrying about specific events that don’t even exist and may never exist. The only thing you can be certain of is NOW.
Know that if you are happy, content and at peace with your present moment then this WILL reflect into your future.

Balance. We must learn to set boundaries for ourselves. Today’s world can be extremely fast paced and demanding with not enough ‘time’ in the day to complete our to dos never mind our leisurely requests. We must take a moment each day to at least breathe, when I say breathe I mean really breathe. Slow and rhythmic belly breathing. Sit with your self for a while. Notice those little sensations of the present moment. The rise and the fall of the belly, the tension in the facial muscles, the chitter chatter of the monkeys in the mind. Learn to observe rather than react. Give the monkeys 🐒 back to their own circus.
It’s a known fact that we begin to work more with our cerebral cortex when thinking this way which in turn gives us more ‘time’, you know times an illusion right? 😉
Our perception of time is very revealing of our emotional state. There is no single, uniform time, but there is multiple times which we experience. Our temporal distortions are a direct translation of the way in which our brain and body adapt to these multiple times, the times of life. eg dopamine released into the brain when ANS sympathetic nervous system is triggered (fight or flight) and in turn gives the illusion that time is flying by. The same can be said when excited or in love. So basically allowing our energy in motion (emotion) to control us can cause us to lose perception of time so to speak. Simply observe your sensations at the present moment, acknowledge them but don’t judge them, let them pass, observe the triggers and acknowledge, let them pass. Be fully present in the moment and you will never feel rushed again 🙏🏼 Equilibrium 🕉

Surrender to what we can’t control and we will have freedom. Not freedom of choice as choice is yet another illusion of control. Know that there will always be an outcome, be comfortable with that and you shall find peace 🙏🏼
