Is there a more appropriate day to address binging than the day after Halloween? 🎃 🍬 🍫 I believe binging is really an epidemic and there is not enough support regarding it. How to recover from a binge - don’t try to work it off with endless cardio, go right back into your normal exercise/eating routine and forgive yourself, ensure you’re getting enough quality protein and healthy fats at each meal so you can be satisfied, let go of the all or nothing mentality, there will be more food tomorrow, you don’t need to be perfect! I personally love to get a sweat on and really hydrate myself and focus on unprocessed foods. Check yourself with your goals and personal requirements, make sure they aren’t too strict as no one can healthily adhere to this for a long time. What does your meal prep look like? I believe prep is crucial for success, however, it does not mean extremes are necessary. Majority of “fitness” meal prep is boiled chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and brown rice... meticulously weighed and packed for 5-6 small meals a day, with a side of processed/chemically packed treat if it fits into the macro allowance. What is the problem with this? Besides meal plans being proven not to work long term, the person isn’t learning how to actually make their own healthy choices and habits. Think about the last time you decided to get fit/healthy, did you go to extremes? How did that work out for you? What happened when you went off it? Instead of trying for a quick fix through a regiment that you know isn’t going to stick, think long term. Maybe the weight won’t fall off as quick, but you will learn how to make your own decisions that benefit your long term health and, with confidence, keep it off. That is true success. Saving hella lives with these thighs 😂😜 Let me tell you why I'm grateful for these legs, they have gotten me through countless hours of practice and training, horrible growing pains (tall ppl problems), survived stressed fractures, and very late pregnancy.
