A heart like yours should belong to someone who will be healed enough to understand and value you enough to see you as a priority.
-- Pierre Alex Jeanty

Ground yourself in your truth, then rise up towards your full potential. Lesgow!

What does it take to be strong?
On the mat. Does "strong" mean being able to execute fancy and complicated poses? Or does it mean being able to practice non-stop for a full 2 hours? Does it mean being able to carry yourself upside down with only your head or your hands to support you?
Off the mat. Does "strong" mean being able to overcome every challenge and "defeating" your adversaries without shedding a single tear and still holding your head up high for everyone to see? Does it mean building a huge network of connections to build wealth? Does it mean influence, fame, or power?
To me, to be strong, one must know how it is to be weak...and to be OKAY with being weak. To be strong is to be able to admit that you're not okay, and it's okay that you're not okay. Being strong is to be brave enough to show others that you are weak.
.
My heart is broken now, but that doesn't mean I'm giving up or putting the blame on someone else for this brokenness. Yes, I am broken now, and I am grateful for it. Because now I know what it feels like and I can build myself back up again from here.
What does it take to be strong? Weakness. Without our weakness, we won't discover our own strength.

What do you do when things do not turn out the way you hoped it would?
What CAN you do?

You go back to square one. You re-connect to your core, your values, your true intentions. You go back to the place where you see yourself clearly, you know yourself fully, you trust yourself completely. You go back and find that place, and begin again. This is the essence of life. A constant cycle of learning and re-learning. Of stumbling and getting back up again. Of hellos and goodbyes. But despite the continuous ebb and flow of life, its sad and happy times, we remain connected to who we are. This is our anchor, our foundation. To re-connect to who we really are is also re-connecting to our intuition. The bittersweetness of endings is that it helps us find NEW STRENGTH, NEW COURAGE. The beauty of new beginnings is that we get to use this new found strength and courage to redirect ourselves towards a path that resonates with our soul. This journey is not easy, but we have no choice but to keep going. One foot in front of the other, that's all it takes. We'll all eventualy get there. To where we're meant to be. True happiness. True fulfillment. True bliss.
Journey well, friends. I'm cheering you on! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’—βœ¨

Whatever it may be,
Find what ignites worlds within you.
Let your work, everything you create,
Be a direct extension of your heart space.
Now, more than ever,
The world needs more of our light.
Go find what sparks it,
And people that wholeheartedly believe in it,
And use it to go out & change something. -- Danielle Doby

To flow is to move with the breath. To let the inhale and exhale lead you to the next step. To not let your expectations or frustrations get in the way of what your body is ready to do.

Always grateful for our morning light.
