I grew up an only child of a single mother. When I was 14 I lost my mother to alcoholism. Even though I was never able to come out to her, I believe she knew. I wholeheartedly believe that if she were still around for me to have come out too... it would have been tough for a moment but would quickly realize I AM MY MOTHER’S SON. She would have adjusted and been my biggest supporter.
I often dream of her looking at me, proud of the Man I have become. It drives me everyday to be the human she meant for to me to be. And that is what compels me to support others.
