First time, just me and the pēs, and I decided to take them and celebrate this Mother. . Yesterday I was able to use this photo in a presentation for an upcoming project I’ve been working on. From looking out and watching this pā’ū of rain ka’i in and have this ānuenue appear to seeing it yesterday on the screen, it still feels like.. ma ke ala pono. Mahalo Tūtū for inspiring me then and even more now. I love when life can pani pukas.
Last Mei @chanelyy@mattbruening and I were here at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Among the exhibits I found so hard not to touch, I wanted to share this piece. It kind of makes me think of today, how Halemaʻumaʻu is on display. But I also wanted to share that one of my favorite pieces wasn’t a piece at all..it was actually a window with the shade drawn.
