I remember the first time I visited @to_show_love post bone marrow transplant, he was bedridden, pretty delirious from the medication, and it was the first time that he physically looked like he was dying. It was also the first time I ever had to excuse myself from the room so that Bek and Jason wouldn't see my discouraging tears when it sunk in that, oh shit-Jason might not make it through this. I watched Jason pray, stay hopeful and stand assured that he was going to survive, even when he would have to take vomit breaks in the middle of his sentences while proclaiming it. This dude is a warrior and I feel so incredibly grateful to still have my friend because I know not everyone's story ends in survival but Jason's does. Thanks for my war elephant pin Jas, I love you much friend.
